After Jay had gotten into their rig, the rig that he suddenly remembered putting his case to Lindsey to be able to let him drive it, being his dream car... He drove off while Hailey sat next to him not knowing what the hell to say.
They drove for about 10 minutes before pulling up by a park. Jay turned the car off, took the keys out of the ignition and threw them on the dash, leaving Hailey to jump a little in her seat. Hailey has absolutely no idea how to take this, she didn't exactly know what happened between jay and Erin but knew they had a lot of history and knew that Jay never really lost the feelings he had for her, no matter how many one night stands he had.
"Ummm Jay? Permission to speak?" Hailey quietly spoke "Go for it, because I don't know what to think or what to say or what the fuck to do??" Jay snarled. Snapping back straight away "actually no I do have something to say, what the hell is she thinking? I mean it's been 2 years? And now she thinks she can just waltz back in her like nothing and it all go back to normal? I'm only just starting to get over her. GOD DAMIT!" Jay slammed his hands on the steering wheel and rested his forehead on his arms. "Okay I come in piece and I know it's been tough and your my partner and we have a great relationship so I feel like I can say this without a fist flying at me, but Jay I know you love her. I know you have never felt how you feel for her with anyone else? Trust me I know, how many times have we gone out with the team and you take a girl home or meet a girl, you never have the same look on your face like you do when she was around. In my eyes it was like you never let yourself open like that because in your heart you knew she was always going to come back. And Jay I think she would still love you otherwise maybe she wouldn't have come back?" Hailey turned smiling at him "Your a good partner Hailey, I have opened up a lot to you because that's what I never done with her because I felt like she was never strong enough for me to put all my drama on her shoulders, but I was wrong and that's what broke us. I have changed and of course seeing her makes me think okay maybe we can go back to normal? But I don't know if I can let myself go down that path again" Jay sighed. *BUZZ BUZZ* Hailey looked at her phone "Jay we caught a case, we gotta go" Hailey sighed.
Blue and red lights turned on as they spun around and drove to the crime scene.
