It was a month until Noah's first birthday and Erin was now 14 weeks pregnant, still healthy and everything was going well. She rarely did this but she had to bring Noah into work, she hated it but something happen with the daycare and should couldn't get hold of a babysitter.
She walked up into the district holding Noah and Platt's eyes lit up "Oh hey there, if it isn't mini chuckles" she walked over and grabbed Noah from Erin giving him a hug "God he is looking more and more like Jay, your lucky he at least looks good" she just rolled her eyes and laughed.
"I really should get up there, his birthday is in a month, doing something at the park nothing big but we'd love it if you came" Erin said grabbing now back off Trudy.
"Wouldn't miss it" they both smiled as Erin walked over and buzzed her way up.
Adam and Hailey were the first ones to spot Erin and Noah "If it isn't our favourite Halstead!" They went over as Erin passed Noah over to Adam "Look after him for a minute?" They were happy to, everyone else gathered around as Erin walked into Voight's office.
"Hey I know Noah shouldn't be here and I'm trying to get ahold of someone to look after him, I just don't.."
He interrupted her "Erin it's fine. I mean look he lights up the room" he said pointing out the door as everyone was playing with him. "Don't stress" they both got up and walked out meeting the rest of them in the bullpen.
Jay walked in from around the corner with Mouse "What the hell is going on here?" Jay said before noticing his son and then looked at Erin "What?"
"Long story, but I'm trying to get ahold of someone to look after him"
"Yeah no worries, I will ring Will or Nat?" He asked and she agreed, after he sent a message he looked over to Mouse "Want to meet our son?" Mouse nodded.
As they walked over Noah was getting bounced as he sat on Kevin's knees, he was clapping and smiling and as soon as he seen Jay he shouted "DADDY!" Everyone gasped and Erin and Jay looked at each other "Daddy, daddy, daddy"
He knelt down with the biggest smile "Hey buddy, god you have just made my day" he picked him up and threw him in the air.
Hailey nudged Erin "First actual word?"
Erin smirked "Yeah, he was saying it all morning but shh let's just pretend it's the first time I want Jay to feel special" they both nodded and laughed.
Jay walked over to Mouse, "Hey Noah, I want you to meet a good friend of daddy's. This is Mouse. Can you say hi?" He started waving his hand and then fell forward wanting Mouse to take him.
Mouse awkwardly grabbed him and held onto him like he was some kind of bomb, Erin looked over and laughed "Mouse don't worry he isn't going to blow up" after that he started to become less awkward and relax.
Everyone eventually got back to their paperwork, Mouse and Jay were in the break room with Noah while Erin caught up on her paperwork too.
"You don't really well for yourself Jay, you are really lucky." Mouse said
"It's all because of her" Jay pointed out the door to Erin "She's such a good mother"
"Yeah I know, the looks though, he's all you"
Jay chuckled "Hey, bud" he looked down to his son whom was standing up balancing his hands on Jays legs "Daddy"
"Little man, you better start saying mummy otherwise she's going to kill me" they both laughed as Noah started chuckled and then they noticed Will walk in.
"If it isn't my favourite nephew!" Will said as he entered.
"He's your only nephew" Jay smirked "Thanks for this man, hey you remember Mouse yeah?"
"Of course, it's good to see you again been a long time. We will have to all catch up for a beer" Will said shaking his hand.
"Yeah for sure" Mouse replied.
"Righto Noah lets go" he picked Noah up and Jay handed him the nappy bag "Unc Will" Noah shouted playfully clapping his hands.
"Yeah I'm your uncle Will, good job little man!" Will said with a big smile "He's started putting his words together?" Jay nodded "No stopping him now"
