Noah is now 2 and Camille is 8 months old. September. Erin has been at work for 2 months now. Also Kim and Adam have had their baby, it was a girl and she is now 1 month old and her name is Maisie.

Erin slowly woke up, it was 5 30am. In about an hour Noah would be up and Camille wouldn't be far off, he first feed is usually at 6 30, she's been sleep through for the last month and they all were finally in a routine.
She quickly got up and wrapped a robe around herself, she could hear the shower running and she thought she'd surprise Jay.
She walked in slowly, and he heard her open the shower door and then felt her arms wrap around him.
"Well good morning" He said turning around to kiss her.
"Morning, thought you'd like a nice surprise to start your morning off" She said wrapping her arms around his neck.
"So let's play some scrabble then" He said raising his eyebrow.
Erin pulled him in and started to kiss him, wasn't long after that Jay had her up against the shower screen, things definitely got steamy.

Jay was walking out the door with his gym bag, Erin quickly chucked him an apple as he walked out. Jay usually went to the gym for an hour before starting work, he'd go every weekday and then on the weekends he'd go for a walk with Noah and Camille while he let Erin sleep in.
"Love you, see you at work" Jay shouted on his way out.
"Love you too." Erin said as she walked in to wake Camille, Noah was in the playroom watching cartoons.
Erin walked in and Camille was already playing with her feet and gurgling away. She walked over and picked her up, taking her to the change table.
After Erin had dressed her for the day she walked out with Camille on her hip, going to heat a bottle. Noah came rushing out "Hey mummy!"
She rested her hand on his head as she slowly put Camille in her high chair with her bottle and some food to pick at.
Erin knelt down time Noah's level and he quickly wrapped her arms around him "What's up buddy? You okay?"
"Love you."
"Aw Noah, I love you too buddy." Erin said as she squeezed him, they were definitely raising a kind hearted little man.
"Can I go see daddy today?"
"Aw I don't know little man, he's really busy at work. But we have the weekend off so what about we go to the park with Uncle Will and Aunty Nat?"
Noah started nodding and reluctantly agreed. Erin knew he was starting to want to spend more time with his father, he was growing up and being in a house most of the time with two women, he wanted to start doing boy things. So how was Erin going to talk to Jay about this? He loves his job and he loves his family.

Erin walked up to the bullpen, Jay still wasn't it so she thought it would be the perfect time to talk to Hank without Jay getting curious. She quickly walked up to Hanks office and knocked.
"Good morning Erin, what's up?"
She walked in and sat down infront of his desk, he could tell she had something on her mind so he told her to spit it out.
"Noah is starting to want less mum time and more sad time, so I don't know I guess I just want advice with how to tell Jay that I think he should work a little less and maybe I pick up the slack? And then obviously I'd have to talk to you about it because maybe you don't even want that." Erin stopped talking catching her breathe, she literally he just blurted everything out with even thinking what she was saying.
"Okay Erin, firstly my advice is that you should be talking to Halstead about this, I mean he married you, he started a family with you so sooner or later he should of guessed that this conversation would eventually come up." Hank said.
"Yeah I know your right, but what if he doesn't want to give it up? I just can't see him doing that" Erin said shrugging her shoulders.
"I think you'd be surprised at what he'd do for you, I mean he ignored what I said didn't he? So he obviously wasn't scared of what could of happened to him" Hank said with a little chuckle.
"Maybe."
"Look Erin, just talk to him."
Erin nodded and got up and started walking out, quickly turning back to face him "Thanks Hank."

After a few hours in the bullpen, Erin noticed Jay had gotten up and headed into the break room, so she quickly walked in and shut the door. She noticed that Jay had quickly shoved his phone into his pocket, but she shrugged it off it wasn't time to talk about that right now.
"Halstead, can I talk to you for a second?"
"Okay what have I done? Because usually it's babe or Jay or something that's not Halstead unless I'm in trouble." He said concerned as they both sat on either side of the table.
"Sorry, um" she paused and took a deep breath "So what would you think about me picking up the slack for a while and you maybe spending more time at home?"
Jay slid back in his chair and let out a quiet 'Huh'.
"I know that you think I should be spending the most time at home, but Noah is starting to really miss his dad. He wants to do boy things that I as a mother can't do, well I can but it's not the same," Erin paused still noticing Jay confused "Look I know we knew this life was going to be hard, we are detectives, in a very demanding unit but I think we need to think more about our future."
"I don't know Erin, I think it's fine how things are right now." Jay said firmly as he got up to get a cup of coffee.
"Seriously? You haven't noticed how much Noah wants to be with you? He wants his dad, I don't want him to grow up barely seeing you."
"He won't."
Erin stood up, she could tell something other then this was on Jays mind and it was pissing her off.
"Okay Jay, what the hell is going on?"
"What? Nothing?"
"Well I think something is because your shoving a really important issue down the drain and that's not like you."
"Um." Jay gave Erin a look of pure anger and worry.
"Jay! What is going on!" She stood up, her chair slamming down behind her. She could feel eyes watching her but that didn't worry her, how Jay was acting was.
"I just got a tip for one of my CI's, they just found Justin's killers body."
Erin quickly out her hand over her mouth, after everything they had been through and everything they had done to prevent this from happening was coming back to haunt them.
"What? Are you sure?"
Jay grabbed both of her arms and looked her dead in the eye "Erin you need to tell me absolutely everything."
