Jay and Erin were given the day off. They had Erins 20 week appointment and they were also going to look at houses. Jay has lined up a few with a real estate agent his brother put him onto.

"Come on little man, your nearly there!" Jay said as he watched his son trying to take a step, but it was all shaky and he fell backwards onto his bottom. Erin walked out of the bedroom and laughed.

"He's nearly there, I reckon give it a couple more days and we won't be able to stop him." She said as she walked over putting stuff in the baby bag "You ready to go?"

"Yeah we are ready. What do you think Noah, do you want a brother or sister?" He said poking his belly as he picked him up.

"Okay let's go, hopefully we get in and out and then can start looking at houses. Although I feel like this real estate agent has the hots for you, be funny when we turn up together with a 1 year old. Shame I don't have a baby bump yet" she chuckled and wiggled her eyebrows towards Jay.

"She does not have the hots for me. Your hormones are just off"

Erin stopped in her tracks and turned to look at him. He raised his arm that was free "But I love your hormones even when they are all crazy"

"Uh huh. Noah, your daddy should be very thankful that he's holding you right now otherwise I'd beat the crap out of him" she said with a sarcastic tone.

An hour late and Erin was laying on the bed with gel on her stomach waiting to find out the gender of their second baby. She has her hand in Jays as he was balancing Noah on his knees trying to keep him occupied.

"Here we go, there's the heartbeat of your very healthy baby" Dr Parker said.

They both smiled at one another and took a sigh in relief. They'd just hope from now on it would be okay, because last time it was all downhill from here.

"So would you like to know the gender of your baby? "Dr Parker asked them both.

"Yes please" they both said in tune with each other.

"Okay let's see hear. Give me a second" a couple seconds passed which felt like years to them both. "Congratulations, it's a girl"

"A girl? Really?" Erin said and a single tear fell, Jay wiped it away and smiled at her. He then lifted Noah up expressing he was getting a baby sister, he just giggled not knowing a single thing.

"So a girl, how do you feel about that daddy?" Erin said as she grabbed Jays hand once they got into the car.

"I'm really happy Er, but I can just tell already that I'm going to be even more protective over her then I am over him. I mean that's my job right?" He said raising an eyebrow at his wife.

"If you say so babe" Erin said as she chuckled.

Later that day after they had looked at a couple house's all exhausted, they had one left. The three of them walked in and Jay could tell it was the one, the moment Erin stepped in she didn't have an opinion just smiled and looked around. He waited for opinion. He knew this was a big step for them both but at the end of the day it was going to be her decision on where they raised their children, she knew best.

"It's perfect, Jay I mean look. It beautiful" She grabbed his hand and pulled him to look out to the backyard, "I mean can't you picture it know, our children playing..." she paused "I never thought I'd be the one to want to grow old in the suburbs but with you I'd do it in a heartbeat"

Jay walked towards her and kissed her forehead "This is it then"

"Can we actually afford this? I mean it is big."

"We'll figure it out"
