"Baby I'm nearly 39 weeks pregnant, I could have this baby any minute. I really don't think going to the departments annual benefit dinner is a good idea, but don't let that stop you from going." Erin said as she laid in the bathtub reading a book.
"I think it could be fine, I mean our night away was abit of a bust. Noah got sick so we had to come back, it ended up being nothing. Then you got whatever Noah had so we couldn't do it the following weekend and now it's too late because we don't want you to go into labour in the middle of nowhere" Jay said running circles on Erins baby bump that stuck up out of the water.
"Who's going to look after Noah? And Jay look at me! I have nothing to wear!"
"I will get Will and Nat to take him, and I'm sure we can find something, tell me what size you are and I can get Hailey and Kim to pick a couple things out for you?"
"If I agree will you leave and give me some piece and quiet" she said blowing bubbles into his face.
"Yes ma'am"
A couple hours before they had to leave for the benefit dinner the girls were getting ready while the boys were downstairs having a few drinks.
"There is no way this is going to do up, I swear my ass and boobs have gotten bigger within a week!" Erin said as Kim and Hailey tried doing the zipper up.
"So does that mean your milk has come in?" Kim asked.
"Yeah, another thing you can look forward too. The only thing is because they are bigger apparently you become more attractive but honestly even the slightest touch and I want to cut Jays man parts off"
They all bursted out laughing.
"Okay what about this one?" Hailey held up a deep navy blue dress, it was silk and long with a split up one side.
"Trying it on won't hurt, but first we have to get me out of this one" Erin smiled as she squirmed.
"Okay let's do it" Both Kim and Hailey said as they walked towards Erin and helped her. They took the one she was wearing off and slipped the other one on. Although she had a big baby bump and dress fit like a glove "Wow Lindsay, you look amazing. Jay is going to be lost for words" Hailey said with a smile as both the girls stood back to admire her.
After about half hour, they had finished doing their hair and makeup and they headed down to meet the boys.
All the boys were chatting when Kevin near choked on his drink "Wow" everyone looked at him confused, he was the only one facing the other way "Jay you better turn around man" he pointed to Jay.
Jay turned around and smiled, he got up and walked over to Erin and held her bump "See I told you"
"Told me what Halstead"
"That no matter what you will always look beautiful, even if you think you look like a whale." He smiled and kissed her.
"I guess my man also scrubs up alright. You defiantly do look good in a suit" she gave him a wink.
"Okay come on we better get going"
Voight walked over to Erin before they walked out the door "Have you told him?"
"Hank" she raised her eyebrow at him.
"Okay I won't say anything or talk about it, but he needs to know how your feeling."
"Yeah I know, let's just get through tonight yeah?"
They both nodded and walked out.
They had been at the dinner for a couple hours, speeches were over and dinner was done. They were all sitting around the table drinking and chatting.
"I'm going to go grab another round and then we will leave yeah?" Jay said to Erin as he got up.
"Yeah it's fine, I'm good" he grabbed her hand and give it softly.
"I'll go with you" Voight said as he got up to walk over with Jay.
Suddenly Erin felt a sharp pain, which got Haileys attention.
"You good Erin?"
"Yeah no I'm fine" Erin sighed and rested her hand on her stomach "Ah. Look I'm just going to duck to the ladies."
"Okay I'll come with you." Hailey said concerned.
As soon as Erin stood up she felt a gush and liquid start running down her leg, her face dropped as she looked up at Hailey. She now had the whole tables attention, Kevin came and stood next to her and Adam paused in his tracks with a shocked face "Is that?"
"Um guys, I think my water just broke"
"Okay Linds come on I got you, let's start walking to the car?" Kevin said calmly.
"Where's Jay. I need Jay" she said with a worried voice and then grabbed Kevin's hand in pain making him gasp.
Jay had no idea, him and Voight came with a tray full of drinks. Then he saw Erin, he face was red and she was breathing strongly, his eyes travelled down to her dress which had a big wet patch.
"Jay it's baby time" Hailey said as he rushed over taking her side besides Erin.
