It had been 4 hours since Jay went dark, everyone was trying to stay calm but of course they were doing everything to try find out where Jay was. They had gone to the warehouse that Jays phone last pinged at but he wasn't there, witnesses had said they seen a black sedan flee from the scene.
Hailey was at her desk looking at camera footage to try find the sedan to get a number plate. Suddenly her phone starting buzzing, it was Erin, she looked up from her desk "Hey Sarge, it's Erin" she paused "What do I say?"
Voight "Just tell her Jay is still undercover, it will probably be a late night so don't wait up for him"
Hailey nodded as she answered the phone "Hey Erin, everything okay?"
Erin "Hey Hailey, Yeh I'm okay just wondering if you have heard from Jay? I just haven't heard from him and he won't answer his phone"
Hailey "Yeh he's still undercover it will probably be a late one too so don't wait up, but listen once he's back I will get him to call you"
Erin "No worries, thanks that would be great"
Hailey "Cool, bye" Hailey hung up the phone and threw it on the desk "Are we anywhere? I mean Erins not dumb she's a detective she's going to click on sooner rather then later"
Atwater shouted from his desk "Yeh we got something, finally found the car that was described, we ran the plates it's owned by a Rebecca Stevens no priors but she has the same address as King so I'm assuming they are together"
Voight "Righto lets bring her in, Atwater and Burgess you stay here everyone else let's go"
Meanwhile Erin knew something was up, she could hear it in Haileys voice. She grabbed her keys and drove to the district, she knew she wasn't suppose to but she needed answers. She walked in and saw Platt, straight away she saw Erin and jumped from her seat.
Platt "Erin! What are you doing here, it's late and you should be resting, but wow you do look amazing"
Erin "Hey Trudy, Yeh I wish I felt amazing" she joked "I know I shouldn't be here but you know me I worry. I just wanted to come check up on the investigation"
Platt "Yeh Erin I don't think that's a good idea, they are slammed at the moment and I think they just left, they got a lead or something"
Erin "Trudy whats going on?" Erin started to become blunt, she knew something was up.
Platt "Jays missing"
Erin gasped as she lent up against the front desk "How long?"
Platt "4 hours"
Erin "Buzz me up"
Trudy nodded and buzzed her up. Erin was led up the stairs, it was the most exercise she'd had in months so it knocked her around a little. Once she got to the top steps Kevin and Kim seen her and there eyes dropped. They all knew she figure it out but not this soon.
Atwater "Hey Erin, here let me help you" he pulled out his hand for Erin to lean on.
Erin "I know everything, tell me you have something"
Burgess "Okay, so Jay has been missing for 4 hours, we tracked down the car that was involved, it was registered to the girlfriend of the guy we have been chasing. They are bringing her in now"
As burgess said that, they heard the team coming up the stairs. When they are seen Erin their faces dropped. Then they heard a females voice yelling as she was put in the interrogation room. Voight guided Erin into his office.
Voight "Erin what are you doing here? Your meant to be at home"
Erin "I knew something was wrong, why didn't you tell me"
Voight "Because I didn't want this to happen, Erin you know we can handle this, you need to go home and rest, that's what Jay would want right now"
Erin shook her head "Hank you know I can't just sit around while my husband is missing"
Voight "Okay, just go sit in the break room and relax please? We will go press the girlfriend and go from there"
Erin nodded as she walked out and made herself comfy. A couple hours went by, finally the girlfriend caved and gave them a location. They all started running down the stairs, Erin rushed out of the break room, Kim was walking over to her. Voight had told her to wait back with Erin "Kim what's going on?"
Kim "We got a location, they are going to check it out, hopefully Jays there" she rested her hand on Erin "We are going to find him"
Erin "I know, thanks Kim"
Kim nodded "No worries, I'm just going to head to my desk, yell out if you need anything" she started to walk away then suddenly heard Erin wince in pain, she turned around and saw Erin holding her stomach and suddenly there was blood seeping threw her jeans.
Erin "Kim, you need to get my to the hospital now"
