Jay woke to Erin screaming his name, he couldn't get out of the bed quick enough causing him to fall over. He ran into the bathroom "Erin are you okay? What's wrong is it the baby?"
Erin turned to him and smiled holding up her shirt "Look I'm showing!" She was now around 18 weeks pregnant. Jay sighed with relief, as he leaned on the door frame "I got worried" she chuckled "Sorry I didn't mean to worry you I just got excited and wanted to share it with you" she pulled his hand over to rest on her stomach, he walked behind her so he could wrap both his arms from behind to rest on her small but showing bump "You look beautiful" she sighed "On that note we need to get ready we have to go to work" Jay grunted, flinging his head back "Way to wreck the moment" she smiled "I'm sorry, but hey I need to shower and we could" she paused as she started taking her clothes off, Jay raised his eyebrows as he stripped down and entered the shower with her.
Later that day at the district Erin was leaning on the counter in the break room. Hailey walked in and saw Erin, she placed a hand on Erins back carefully "Hey Erin, you okay? Do you want me to get Jay?" Erin turned around and placed a hand on her stomach "No everything's good just a little nauseous and let's not tell Jay he tends to worry a little more then needed and trust me I have to deal with it enough at home let alone work" she chuckled "Okay only if you are sure" Hailey said as she reached for the coffee. "Yeh I'm sure, dam I wish I could have some proper coffee this decaf shit is horrible" she laughed as she walked out.
"Okay so it's been a week and there has been 2 more shootings. We need to get these guns off the streets. We know that Kayne Romero is keeping the guns kept at his club, so we need to figure out a way to pin it on him. We know he's the one selling them we just need the proof, so I want two of you to go undercover and set up a buy. Halstead and Ruzek, the rest of you will be there, be careful we know what this guy is capable of" Voight said as he was writing up everything on the board.
Erin was putting the wire on Jay "Okay so that's all set, you know the drill" he nodded at her "But hey, I don't have to say it I know but be careful. I don't have your back in there but I know everyone else has" she started to get emotional, he grabbed her cheek and cradled her face in his hand "Hey you don't have to worry, you know I will be okay" she grabbed his hand "Yeh I know, sorry hormones" she chuckled "Love you" as he pressed his lips on her forehead "Go get em" Erin smiled as she watched the all roll out.
Erin sat at her desk doing paperwork as she waited for the team to get back. All of a sudden she felt severe pain in her stomach, pain she had never felt before. All of a sudden she was bent over screaming, Trudy came running up "Hey Erin what's wrong?" She ran over to Erin and held her. Next thing Atwater and Hailey walked up, their faces dropped when they saw Erin. Straight away Atwater got on his face to call for an ambulance. "Trudy what's happening? Erin what's wrong?" Hailey ran over to her and grabbed her hand "Where's Jay?" Erin said quietly as she started going out of consciousness "Hey Erin stay with us" Trudy shouted to Erin with a shaky voice.
Ambulance 51 where out the front of the district, they were rolling Erin out on a stretcher when Jay and Ruzek and the others pulled up "What the hell is going on?" Omg is that Erin" Ruzek shouted as he pointed towards the district. Jay ran over and grabbed Erins hand "Baby, talk to me? Erin please" Jay shouted trying to keep his emotions from taking over "Jay, she has been out of consciousness for about 10 minutes, we are taking her to med, you can come with us" Brett shouted as she got into the back of the ambulance, Jay followed behind her. The rest of the team escorted them to med.
