The Whore of Babylon - biblical, but originates from the Epic of Gilgamesh

Describes a woman who fell in love with a very powerful man, but spends her time as a seductress

it's because of this, Endiku and Gilgamesh become friends, forgetting the prostitute

It's forgotten how unselfish she is for introducing these two friends together

Loving them both

Knowing that they will leave her behind

Back in those days - even though lustfulness was looked at as something that is a choice of the individual

It is very unclear whether or not the "Whore of Babylon" was forced into a life of prostitution

Most often, it was not something that could be escaped from

...

Artemis, on the other hand, was the one that avoided the touch of men

She often was desired by those wanting to steal her virginity

Spends all her time in nature

She's the champion of a time when virginity was associated with psychic powers

Would hunt after the stag with her arrow

Protect women from the harm of men

I'm not a virgin, but she represents to me the right of celibacy

Yet, the symbolism is in reverse too

It seems that, if she gave love to another man, she would give up her intuitive ability

...

Snow White - the ideal trappings of virginity

An innately sexist, and pure Christian fairytale

In comparison to the Evil Queen, she has 'faith'

The Queen / Witch seems corrupted due to her reliance on magic, instantly going down a dark spiral

Snow White is scared, but tries to see the good in people

Regardless, she's highly naive, being outsmarted by the Witch every time

You almost have to wonder if she's doing it on purpose - if she knows she's too beautiful

Maybe she understands that she would corrupt like the Queen for having too much power

The Queen relies on her wiles, knowing beauty being defined as a character trait is meaningless
