Who found you

A dark secret with
Blazing, intense eyes

Learned more about you
As the old house brought me to you in dreams
You were banned from your own kingdom
How you were turned by a witch
Who banished you to this castle
I hear your dark, lonely call at night
I can't help but listen
To wonder
Heeding the call
It gives me a thrill
That day you found me in the winter snow
Took me in
Stripped me by the fire
Touching every part of me
Daring me to hold onto your light
I have committed every part of you to memory
There's been many before me
All had fallen to your charms
