She is one world here, and one in the next

Tied between cultures - between faith and fate

It governs her life

Is she cursed?

Is this past life karma?

Is the will of God?

Forced to work in the garden when she belongs to the waves

Hiding behind fenceposts and walls

How must one give up those ancient dreams?

They sing beyond the confines of time, haunting like the whispers of dark, those hungry ghosts

Giving way to comfort and stoicism will never rid of the work that is needed to be done

Stars will never give full answers

Staring at old photos of the past

Will never give you the answers you seek

There is no comfort in waiting

For someone or something to save you

You must save yourself

You must walk alone
