I dream of blue skies and freedom

Flying so high - seeing the wonders of the world

Wonder why it is that God didn't give me wings

I want to chase the golden-tinted spring hue

To the end of the flowery fields

To run along the beach and scream against the waves

Not because I may break my hip

Now, I want the certainty that I am free

Chase all doubts away into oblivion

There's nothing more freeing than childhood innocence

Not believing there is anything wrong with you in the first place

Perhaps the problem is when they made the first rules

I want to chuck those rule books out the window

To connect with God is knowing I'm perfectly imperfect

Smiling in the sun, there is no other me
