The three black Cadillac's park under a clump of Weeping Willow trees. Their vines sway in the damp, brisk wind. Katie wraps her arms around herself, her two layers keeping the chilly of the wind from biting her delicate skin. Her naturally wavy ponytail gently sways as she walks. She stays close to Lane as it is hard for her to see through the dark. The crescent moon shines only partly through cracks in the clouds. Distant sounds of coyote howling makes the blonde's gasp and stay closer to the crime lord.

Many of the others, such as Margo, Frankie, and Phoenix, roll their eyes at Katie. Rebel stays close to the blonde, hiding her own fear for the sake of not being ridiculed. The others ignore Katie's obvious fear, being used to her constant fretful behavior.

What are we doing here? Katie sees a wild grass field nearby, This feels so shady. Even for Lane.

A shadow cast over them, distracting the blonde. She trips, falling forward onto the damp grass. Margo and Phoenix snicker from the back of the pack. Katie's hand immediately reaches out and grabs the crook of Lane's arm. He pauses and looks down at her, an unamused brow raised. He lifts up his head to the Weeping Willow trees. A barn-owl perches on a branch, observing the newcomers closely.

Lane smirks at the bird before looking down at a nervy Katie with a slow shake of the head. The blonde dust off the dirt on her dark jeans and straightens her grey sweater with a large yellow crown in the center of the chest area. The gang continues to move forward through the darkness.

Rustling of the nature around them makes Katie jump. The blonde gasps once more, her small hand slips between Lane's bicep and upper ribcage. Her small hand gently holds onto the part of his bicep just above the crook of his toned arm. She expects him to jerk away or reprimand her, to become irritated or annoyed by her timidness. But Lane only continues to keep walking through the darkness without hesitation.

Up ahead, Katie can make out a barn like building through the dim moon light. She squeezes Lane's arm tighter as she wonders what lies inside.

"Stay close." Lane announces out loud, his eyes locked on the barn doors. "Axel, Max, you two keep watch at the front door. Frankie, Tye Dye, you two go around back."

Rebel exchanges a worried look with her blonde friend. She walks a head with Frankie to the back of the barn, disappearing from sight.

"The rest of you, cover me." Lane commands firmly, "Its going to be a long night."

Katie looks up into Lane's stoney face, wondering if he was speaking to her as well. She gently lets go of his arm, falling behind him with Phoenix and Lola as they walk. Lane slightly turns his head to the left, his haunting blue eyes that glows in the darkness looks down at his arm where a small hand had once held on. He slightly nods, slowly looking back up to the barn doors only seven feet away. He lets it go for he has more at hand to deal with.

With his hands covered in leather gloves, Lane grabs the barn door handles. He pulls them open, taking a step back for the massive doors to swing wide and open. Lights glow from inside. Katie slightly stands on her tiptoes to barely make anything out over Lane's massive, broad shoulders. They walk inside from the chilly wind, closing the barn doors.
