After breakfast, Katie and Rebel helped Cassie with the dishes. No one seemed to volunteer to help them, but the girls took the time alone with each other for granted.
"Did you notice that Max didn't eat much at breakfast?" Rebel arches a brow in suspicion as she wipes the water off of the clean dishes. "I know Boss told us to stick our noses somewhere else, but Max is hiding something for sure."
Cassie wipes her hands before pushes her glasses up her nose. "Maybe she's sick?"
"Maybe she's on her period." Katie blushes at her own words, handing Cassie a handful of forks. "I usually feel nauseous when I'm on my period."
"Or sh-she's constipated!" The redhead exclaims, receiving glares from both girls. "What? I feel sick w-when I'm constipated."
"I've lived with Max and Lola too long. I know the signs when their on their period." The mixed girl shakes her head at the two, grabbing five forks that Cassie hands her. "Lola is usually extra horny and gains some weight while Max usually has diarrhea and cramps. Lola may be on her period but know what's going on with Max."
"Then maybe Max is going through something internally." The blonde shrugs, handing Cassie a platter with sticky maple syrup all over it. "Why don't you just go ask her? At least you can say you tried to be a good friend."
Rebel nods. "I will after we get the dishes done."
Cassie rolls her eyes in annoyance. "Yeah, if only th-those new bitches would help."
Katie and Rebel exchange a look, laughing. The redhead looks between them confused. The blonde hand her friend another platter covered in maple syrup.
"What did I say?" Cassie asks innocently.
"Nothing." Rebel wipes the small tears from the corners of her eyes, "You're just funny, Cassie."
The redhead shrugs it off and continues to do the dishes. "Well, I-I-I don't like them-or those s-s-stupid boys! Their perverts!"
"All men are perverts." Rebel smirks, "That's why God made women to balance out the scale."
Katie bites her lower lip, thinking. "How's Lola?"
"Irritable. Overemotional." The mixed girl gives the blonde a curious look, "Why?"
The blonde hesitates for a moment, fearing that her question may be over the line. The room gets quiet.
"What? Spit it out." Rebel presses her friend in a playful manner.
"You know how you and Lola and Frankie were hooking up?" Katie looks up to see the mixed girls confused expression. "Well, would you ever...you know! Be with Frankie?"
Rebel's face scrunches up in disgust. "Hell to the no."
The blonde looks away. "Sorry. I know it's none of my business, but I was just wondering. Frankie may-"
"-try to get back at Lola? Yeah, no." The mixed girl shakes her head at the blonde, "The only reason why I had a threesome with those two was because I was adventuring with my sexuality."
Cassie pushes her glasses up her nose, her eyes wide. "You're a lesbian?"
"No." Rebel gives the redhead a bewildered look, "I like boys, but only when they're worth it."
