The howls that belong to the two German Shepard's echoes through the walls of the mansion from the outside. The vast majority of the household is gathered around in the television in the larger living room. Lane sits in a velvet, green throne like chair with gold framing. Jett stands behind his boss boing his fingernails.

"Late breaking! A devastating explosion happened in Ox Hill, Washington, tonight, killing over sixty people at this local restaurant." Janet Hewitt, the local news reporter for KOMO9, stands behind the aftermath of the explosion of Rattlesnake Bite with a large microphone in her hand. "As you can see, behind me, the ruins of what once was a booming business. Now, despite its great popular views, none can find documentation of the true owner of this business or building."

Seven feet away from where Lane sits, Katie and Cassie reside on the floor as they play with the kittens. Katie lays on her stomach with her legs crossed in the air, tickling the Bengal kitten's milk filled belly. The kitten playfully tries to smack the blonde's hand away from his stomach but ends up flipping himself over. Cassie sits with her legs criss-crossed, the white fluffy kitten cuddling her chest. The black kitten slowly crawls over to Lane, being quiet as he stalks up to the crime lord's foot.

"Most of the victims, and several businesses surrounding Rattlesnake Bite, were obliterated in this mysterious accident, but there were few survivors." Everyone in the room goes tense, "The explosion had burned several of the victims faces as well as decimated their bodies, leaving them on life support. None of our surviving victims can be identified at this moment."

Axel, Luka, Elijah, Phoenix, and Ryder all sits on the matching couch. Gabriella sits in a chair near the doorway, tears falling down her cheeks. Allison stands beside her with her hand on her friends shoulder, her brown eyes puffy from crying. Max leans against the door frame of the living room, her head lowered. Frankie stands beside her. Lola sits on the floor with Rebel, whom strangely finds comfort in each others presence.

"Police are furthering their investigation after finding out that all the security cameras from neighboring business were all wiped." Janet walks into the mess that is the ruins of Rattlesnake Bite, "The question most locals are asking is, was this a true accident? Or was this explosion arson? Back to you, Jillian Wong."

Lola puts her fist up to her mouth, mimicking Janet. Her shoulders move as she speaks. "And back to you, Jillian Wong."

The black kitten jumps up on Lane's pant leg, his claws digging into the thick cloth. The crime lord jerks at the familiar sharp, needle like feeling. He hunches over, quickly grabbing the black kitten in his hand. Lane holds the kitten at eye level, frowning.

The crime lord slants his eyes heavily in annoyance. "You again."

Outside, the dogs bark. Jett arches his brow at the window with the fully drawn curtain.

"Salem!" Cassie chuckles, "What are you doing over there?"

"I'll check and see what those dogs want." Jett excuses himself out of the room.

Lane rolls his eyes as he sets the kitten down on the ground by his feet. The kitten faintly cries to him, putting his paws on his pant leg again. Several of the men smirk smugly down at the little black kitten begging for the crime lord's attention.

"Change the channel." Lane rubs the creases on his forehead, closing his tired eyes. "I'm done with the news."

Cassie crawls over and grabs the little black kitten, holding it to her chest. She crawls back over to where Katie lays with the other two kittens. Rebel snarls her nose at the two girls plays with the kittens.
