Lexa sat at her desk staring intently at a paper, yet unable to concentrate. Her work was going pretty smoothly until her sister entered the room.

"You know, I'm genuinely at awe how you manage to sit here all day, every day."

Lexa picked up her head to look at Anya.
"Hey. You need anything?"

"Am I not allowed to come in and simply enjoy the company of my sister once in a while?" She sat down across from Lexa, sipping on her coffee.

"You are if the topic of conversation isn't my work schedule- which is almost never."

"I state my concerns. And no, actually I've got little complaints in that department recently."

Lexa gave her a questioned look, not expecting that as an answer.

"You've actually been looking rather relaxed lately. Usually you're eye bags are way worse, but either your makeup has improved in the past few months, or you're actually less stressed."

Lexa scoffed. "Wow. What a complement. And yes I've been fine, thankyou. Now I recall you promising to talk about something other than my eye bags."

"Yeah, yeah. Well it's kind of related. I was wondering if you could join me and uncle Titus for dinner tomorrow instead of slaving away here."

Ignoring the comments she was so used to hearing at this point, she thought about what she had left to do and if she could make some room in her schedule to spend with the girl. Deciding she could stay longer today, she agreed.

"Uh, yeah sure."

"Wait actually?" Anya looked at her in great confusion.

"Yeah? Why is that so crazy?"

"I don't know... I was expecting you to say no until I would have to force you like every other month."

Lexa's ears grew a little warm in embarrassment. Was she really that obnoxious?

"Well... I figured I haven't spoken to Titus in a while anyways. It'd be nice to catch up."

"Lexa? Socialising with her family? Through her own sheer will?? Wow you really have changed. What's going on in my little sister's life that's she's not telling me? Are you even the real Lexa?"

Lexa's face hid a small bit of guilt, that she was in fact hiding something- embarrassing... She emmidetly thought of Clarke coming to her apartment almost every week. And how attached she was getting to the thought of seeing her.

But that was none of Anya's business or concerns.

"You're such a comedian An."

Her sister rolled her eyes with a small smirk. "Definitely a far better one than you."

Lexa scoffed. "Sorry that I spend my time on more important matters than cracking jokes about my sister."

"I'd like to tell you that making fun of you is an incredible use of my time. And you say that, yet everytime we go to any corporate events, you're tired after just one hour of promoting and making connections."

"That's because you're a social butterfly."

"No. It's because I take the time to actually get to know and laugh with the people rather than focusing on work." Anya leaned towards Lexa. "If you actually tried to enjoy your time there, you'd find yourself- and bare in mind, crazy concept here- enjoying yourself instead of begging to go home."

Lexa gave her sister an unamused stare.

"Lexa... I'm serious. You know what, we're making a pit stop on the way to Titus tomorrow."
