The next morning, the brunette found herself waking up rather refreshed and almost weightless. Getting out of bed she headed to the mirror, fretting over what she was going to wear to cover all of her hickeys.

To her surprise, the blonde spared her neck, and spared Lexa the embarrassment  she would have had covering it up.

Getting into the shower, she let steaming water pour over her as she still felt the tingle of all the places Clarke touched her. And for a second she thought about yesterday night.

"Thankyou."

"Trust me, the pleasure was all mine."

She couldn't get those stupid words out of her head. 'Oh c'mon. She says that to everyone. And you were such a bottom too, Lexa I swear- ' she thought to herself.

Finishing up and putting on her suit, she noticed the pile of clothes from yesterday nicely folded up on the side. Smiling softly, she took them and placed them in her laundry basket.

'For a hooker, this girl was sure sweet in her small gestures.'

She grabbed her suitcase and headed out the door.

Contrary to the day before, there was a stupid smile plastered across Lexa's face today. For once she felt relaxed, sitting in the big chair behind her desk, before getting to work.

Even through the passing hours of paperwork on top of paperwork, Lexa's smile didn't seem to leave her face. And her sister definitely noticed.

Lexa was so focused that she didn't even notice Anya enter and sit in front of her.

"So..."

The brunette jumped up in shock.

"Oh. Anya. Hey." Lexa said before grabbing the pen she dropped and looking back at her papers.

For a moment the two of them sat in silence, Lexa continuing her work, anticipating for the girl to speak up.

"Are you going to tell me or not?"

Lexa looked up in confusion.

"What?"

"You're just not going to say anything?"

"You came into my office Anya. What am I supposed to be telling you?"

"Why you have a smile plastered to your face."

Clearly the CEO didn't realize how happy she looked, because her eyes immediately widened and her cheeks immediately flushed.

"What- what are you talking about?"

"Oh c'mon. I'm very intregued by your sudden mood swing."

"I simply woke up refreshed."

It wasn't technically a lie, but there was no way Lexa was telling the truth.

"I don't buy it. What happened."

"I'm serious. I'm just feeling relaxed, that's all."

"And why's that?"

"I don't know" she lied. "But your constant pestering sure is helping me forget that feeling."

Anya chuckled at the witty comment.

"Fine I'll stop. But that doesn't mean I believe you."

Lexa rolled her eyes. "So why are you here?"

"I just came in to update you that our stocks went up after yesterday's papers came out. Thought it would be a good time to start advertising for the latest project."
