2 MONTHS LATER (HBT)...

"IS IT WRONG THAT I'M NERVOUS?" RAEVANNA ASKED BLAKE.

Blake shook her head, laughing softly as she ran a brush through Raevanna's hair. "Every bride is nervous on their wedding day. It's perfectly normal."

Raevanna smiled, staying silent as she looked down at her hands. She was getting married today. It was still hard for her to wrap her head around that fact. After today, she would be Steve's wife. It had always been a dream in the back of her head to get married to Steve, but their life had been so hectic and crazy that it had never seemed like a possibility. But now that there was finally peace... the dream was becoming a reality. And Raevanna couldn't be happier about it.

"I just..." Raevanna sighed, holding back tears as she was reminded of Alaneo. "I wish he was here. We always joked that I would be the one to get married and he'd be the one who'd die alone. But he promised me he'd be there if I ever got married."

"Hey, no," Blake said, holding up Raevanna's hair and leaning forward so she could see her face. "No tears. This is supposed to be a happy day, remember?"

Raevanna nodded, inhaling deeply and nodding at Blake. "Yeah, I know." She smiled. "Thanks, Blake."

"Of course," Blake replied.

They both fell silent for a moment as Blake finished with Raevanna's hair, weaving flowers into it and then tying it into a double-braided bun. Finishing it off with a hibiscus flower by her ear, Blake then smiled and put her hands on Raevanna's shoulders as she handed her a mirror.

"What do you think?" Blake asked.

"I love it," Raevanna said, turning to her friend and smiling.

That was when there was a knock on the door, then it opened, revealing it to be Diana as she poked her head into the room.

"We're ready for you," Diana said, nodding at the two of them.

"We'll be right out," Blake said. "Thanks, D."

Diana nodded again, then left the room and closed the door. Once she was gone, Blake turned to Raevanna and smiled. "You ready?" Blake asked.

Raevanna took a deep breath and nodded. "Ready."

Blake stood, extending her hand to Raevanna. Raevanna then took it, and then Blake led her over to the door. After a moment, they walked out, where they were greeted by Rhodey.

"You look amazing, Raven," Rhodey said, nodding at her dress.

Raevanna blushed. "Thanks. Blake helped me out."

"I told you bitches I knew fashion," Blake said, pretending to swish back her hair in mock sassiness.

Both Rhodey and Raevanna smiled before Rhodey offered his arm to Raevanna. She took it, smiling warmly at him as Blake walked off, and moments later the doors in front of them opened, leading them to walk through into the chapel and start the ceremony.

Everyone gathered there immediately stood as the two entered. Nervous butterflies began to flutter around in her stomach as Rhodey walked her down the aisle, and her eyes landed on everyone who had attended: her maid of honor, Blake; her bridesmaids, Diana and Pepper; Steve's best man, Bucky; Carol and Zina; Happy and Morgan; Sam and Wanda; Clint and his family; Scott and Hope; and Bruce. They all smiled warmly at her as she passed them, and Raevanna smiled back at them before her eyes landed on Steve, who stood at the front. His eyes lit up when he saw her, and he smiled at her as she approached him.
