Chapter 16 ~ Hogsmeade

I woke up in sweats. Pansy was stroking my head and shooshing me whilst I caught my breath. "Hey your okay" she said "what happend" I said still panting. "You just started screaming, you must've had a nightmare." I didnt let go of her grip, just sat there, my breathing calming down. "What were you dreaming about?" She asked "I cant remember." I lied, remembering exactly what happend.

Once i had calmed down, I sat up and looked at my watch. 7pm. I got in quite late last night, about 4 ish so I managed to get some sleep, on Malfoy and my own bed. "Harry knows." I eventually said watching Pansy grab some clothes from her wardrobe. "Knows what?" She replied slightly confused. "About me and Malfoy. We were making out and he walked in on us." "Shit, how did he react?" "Not great." I sighed

"Is that the reason why you came back so late?" She asked. I smiled remembering the good bits of last night. "Kind of" I smirked "I spent the night with Malfoy" she raised her eyebrows "you didnt" "no, no, no!" I quickly replied "not like that, we danced a bit and I may have fallen asleep on him" "oh Merlin thats adorable" she teased I rolled my eyes "I'm going to Hogsmeade with him today, to help shop for his mother." "So your going on a date with him?" "No! Well not as far as I know"

I got out of the shower and got changed. I put on one of my favourite outfits. A black turtleneck top, a plaid skirt with tights and my usual black DM boots. I did my usual makeup and but on my usual jewelry. My hair was now dried and curled around my face. I grabbed my leather jacket and my favourite hat and headed down to the great hall with Pansy for breakfast.

I walked in and saw my brother. He was sat at the Griffindor table with the rest of the trio. I didnt even want to look at him. "Hey" I turned around and saw Diggory. "Hi" I said giving him a hug. "How are you?" I asked politely "I'm good how are you" "I'm okay, yeah" I nodded. "I just wanted to ask, if you wanted to go to Hogsmede with me today?" He asked "Um, I'm kind of going with someone today. Maybe some other time?" "Oh of course." He replied "I'll see you later then Potter." "Yeah" I said now heading to the table.

I saw Malfoy scooch over and pat the seat next to him. He was in his usual black, also turtle necked, suit that I couldn't help but love. "Hey, ferret boy." I said sitting down "Your not going to let that go are you?" He asked in defeat. I just shook my head. "You can be a bitch sometimes you know that right." "Yep" I smirked back. "But you cant help but love it can you?" I teased "well...?" I punched him on the arm and he rolled his eyes.

We finished breakfast. "Are you ready to go?" He asked standing up. "Um yeah." I said copying him. ",where are you two going?" Blaise asked "is that any of your business Zabini?" He asked sarcastically. "Hogsmeade. Just some late christmas shopping before we head home." He nodded as we headed out.

We made it to Hogsmeade and we were having a great time. We had got some nice presents and had now decide to have a butter beer at the Three Broomsticks. We were sat at the table, Draco had his arm rapped around me as I was moaning I was cold. We were laughing away when some one came up to us "so this is who you went to Hogsmeade with instead then?" Diggory asked seemingly quite upset. "Yeah, and whys that any of your business Diggory?" Draco snapped before I got a chance to answer. He just shook his head and walked away.

"I think I should talk to him" I said getting up "y/n/n come on, seriously." He sighed "I wont be a second Draco." I caught up with Diggory and tapped him on the shoulder. "I'm sorry" I apologised "it's okay" he said trying to sound reassuring but not doing it very well. "No it's not." "Yeah y/n it's really not. And is that were you went off to last night?" I looked at the ground "really?" He sighed. "I'm, so, so sorry Ced, it's just, we were keeping it a secret and when you asked me I couldn't help but say yes. I really like you Diggory and I dont want to loose you as a friend. Is there anyway you can forgive me?" I begged.

He looked around trying not to look at me "okay." He finally said. "I guess, the time we did spend together last night was fun, even if it was just being your friend." I smiled at him. "Thankyou" I said pulling him into a hug. "I do have something for you though." He added before I walked away. "I was going to give to you when I asked you out, but as were now just friends, I'll just give it to you anyway." He said, now handing my a box.

I opend it and there laid a black leather necklace with a little silver guitar on it. I looked at it and noticed that the strings looked like they were being occasionally strummed. " when I saw it, it reminded me of you" he smiled. "I love it." I said giving him another hug "thankyou Cedric" "your welcome Potter." He said before walking away.

I got back into the bar and sat next to Draco. "You were awhile." He said suspiciously "everything okay?" "Yeah" I said stuffing the necklace in my pocket "we're just going to stay as friends. Theres nothing to worry about, ferret boy." I said before kissing him gently on the lips. "I do have one question though" I said snuggling under his arm. "What are we?" "What do you mean?" He questioned "I mean, am I your girlfriend? Or just 'friends with benefits'?" I asked, now kind of nervous for the answer. He looked down at me. "I dont know?" He replied. "I do like the fact that your brother doesn't approve, and being your boyfriend would just wind him the fuck up, even more." I giggled "your right there" I answered.

"But on a serious note Potter. I wouldn't mind being your boyfriend." "You wouldn't mind?" I said sarcastically. "You know what I mean." "Well Malfoy. I wouldn't mind being your girlfriend either" I laughed quietly, holding his cheeks and kissing him softly on the lips.
