Chapter 8 ~ Ferret Malfoy

I eventually got to my room and collapsed of my bed. What the hell did I just do? I kissed Malfoy! I'm a horrible friend. I turned and screamed into my pillow, letting all my anger and confusion out.

I heard the door knob turn and in walked Pansy. I sat on my bed and made it look like I was reading a book. "Hey" she said placing her bag down on her bed. "Where have you been." I asked. "Oh no where" she smiled nervously. "Oh merlin what did you do" I giggled walking across and sitting eagerly on her bed. "Or should I say who did you do?" "Shut it Y/N" she said shoving me back onto her bed.

"Come on tell me!" I teased sitting up "Fine" she finally said reluctantly. "I had a date with Blaize" "shit really! What about your crush on Malfoy." I asked trying to find out if I should tell her what happend or not. "Um I dont know, but i do know that I really like Blaize" "I'm so happy for you" I exclaimed pulling her into a hug.

"I have something to tell you too" i was now starting to get nervous. We sat opposite each other on her bed I looked at her. I dont know her well enough to know how shes going to react. What if she hates me, I'll loose my only friend.

"What is it?" She asked now noticing the scared look on my face. "Um," I began "I may have, accidentally, kissed Malfoy" I said standing up off her bed now pacing around our room "you what?" She said sounding kind of mad. "It was an accident, I didn't know it was happening till it happend" "hey it's okay" she said grabbing my shoulders "I dont mind, i have Blaize now and i really like him" i sighed giving her a hug. "Are you sure" "I'm sure."

It was the next morning. I was on my way to class when I saw my brother. I stormed up to him. "What the hell dude!" "Hi" he said sarcastically. "Why the hell did you not tell me what the first task was." "I'm sorry I was going to tell you but." "But what Haz?" We started walking into the quad. "Okay y/n I'm so sorry, I didn't get a chance to tell you okay" "fine," I said in defeat "but can you promise me we'll do things together from now on" "I promise"

I looked over and saw Cedric Lying down on the bench with his friends surrounding him. We walked over and I noticed all of his friends wearing these badges. "Ohh read the badge Potter" they teased. I glared at them and they a went quiet. Diggory sat up quickly and faced us "Can I have a word?" My brother asked. "Alright" the boy said before smiling at me and walking away from his friends. "You stink Potter!" They yelled as we walked away. I turned to face them holding up my middle fingers.

"Dragons. It's the first task, they have one for each of us." My brother explained. "Come on Ced" another boy yelled as I rolled my eyes. "Are you serious?" He said looking back at us. We nodded our heads. We went to walk away as he pulled my back. "About the badges, I've told them not to wear them." I giggled "it's fine Diggory. To be honest your not wrong" I said walking away.

I caught up with my brother just as Ron walked away, looking extremely pissed. "What happend there?" I asked "nothing" he snapped back.

"Why so tense Potter?" I sighed. Not now. I looked over to see Draco sat in a tree. " My father and I have a bet you see. I dont think your going to last ten minutes in the tornament." He jumped down. "He disagrees" he said walking up to us. "He thinks you wont last five, but Y/N on the other hand." He said smirking at me. " We think she could win, being a slytherin and all." "I dont give a damn what your father thinks Malfoy" yelled Harry shoving the blonde boy "hes vile and cruel and your pathetic" he walked away towards me "pathetic" Malfoy whispered under his breath before pulling out his wand.

All of a sudden a spell was shot at Malfoy turning him into a ferret. I held myself from pissing with laughter. Professor Moody walked over, mumbling things I couldn't understand, and began flinging Malfoy up and down, with his wand, making him hover around in the air. "Professor Moody what are you doing" McGonagall asked rushing over to the scene unfolding before our eyes. "Teaching." He said, still playing with the ferret. "Is that, is that a student!" She exclaimed "well technically it's a ferret!" He yelled before putting ferret Malfoy into Crabbes trousers. I finally broke when Goyal attempted to get him out and he bit him.

Malfoy eventually found his way out of Crabbes trousers. Then McGonagall turned him back to his old self. "To be honest I preferred him as ferret" I whispered to Harry "talked less." We laughed. He screamed like a girl before running back. His blonde hair now a scruffy mess. "My father will hear about this!" He screamed before being chased around the tree by Moody.
