Emma's POV

"Alright." My wife says as she walks into our bedroom. "The kids are with your parents so we can get ready for tonight now."

Today's October 31st and earlier today we took the kids trick or treating and now they're spending the night with My Mom and My mom's wife, who are here for some business meeting.

In about an hour our house will be filled with a shit ton of people since Jessie and I are hosting a Halloween party in our home.

Apparently a lot of people are coming from all of the sports teams here in Miami and both the US and the Canadian women's national teams are coming as well as some of the staff.

Tonights our last night of fun before we get into serious mode for Qualifying.

"Hey Freckles." I say.

"Mhmm" Jessie says as she does her make up.

"Look." I say then I show my wife my phone.

"So it's official." Jessie says with a smile as she looks at our bank account.

The 5 billion from the Uber Eats deal is finally in our account.

"It is." I say.

"So you ready for me to do your hair?" My wife asks.

"Yeah" I mumble as I sit down in front of the vanity mirror

"What's wrong baby?" My wife asks as she approaches me.

"Can I keep my hair curly?" I ask. "I know it won't look right since Korra has straight hair, but..."

"Of course you can keep you're hair curly."

Jessie and I are dressing up as Korra and Asami Sato from The Legend of Korra.

"Thanks." I mumble then my wife starts putting my hair up in the way Korra has her's

"Everything okay?" Jessie asks.

"Yeah." I say as Shadow lays her head on my lap. "I just don't like having straight hair."

"Why?"

"My father forced me to straighten my hair every day so I would look white." I say. "After I emancipated myself and left when I was 16, I promised myself I'd never have straight hair again."

"Well then for the rest of our lives I promise that I will make sure your hair is as curly as you like it." Jessie says then she kisses my head.

After Jessie kisses my head, she finishes doing my hair then the two of us tidy up our room.

Once the room is tidy'd up I tap my wife's shoulder.

"Yes Sharky?" Jessie says with a smile.

"You're pretty." I say with a dopey smile.

Jessie giggles then she softly kisses me.

"You're very pretty too Emma." Jessie says then she intertwines our hands.

"EMMA PEOPLE ARE HERE." Ash shouts from down stairs.

"Ready?" Jessie asks.

I nod so the two of us leave our bedroom, lock the door, then we head downstairs to greet our guests.

Once down stairs, Shadow meets up with us after she's eaten dinner then we head to the door and greet people.

Eventually enough people show up to where Jessie, Shadow, and I can enjoy the party and not greet everyone so we head to the bar and grab some drinks then the three of us head to the living room and chill with our friends.
