Emma's POV

"Emma." One of the USWNT Media People says. "You're on."

"Alright." I say then I take a deep breath and walk out of the Home dressing room here in Miami and head to the pitch for my retirement ceremony.

Today is December 8th, 2035 and today was my final professional game.

We beat Belgium 4-0.

I wanted my retirement ceremony to be held after the game so I could remain focused.

When I get to the edge of the tunnel I stop and take another deep breath then I wait to be called out

"PLEASE WELCOME TO THE FIELD ONE LAST TIME." The PA Announcer shouts. "YOUR UNITED STATES WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM CAPTAIN...NUMBER 1, EMMA HARRIS."

"Here goes nothing." I mumble then I walk out onto the pitch.

Once on the pitch I walk through the two lines my teammates have created then I notice everyone clapping.

After I reach the end of the guard of honor, I see a framed Jersey sitting on a stand.

When I get to the jersey that says my last name and 320 as the number, I look at the plaque and read it.

Emma Harris

320 Caps

120 Clean Sheets

Record: 250 Wins-50 Draws-20 Losses

A small part of me is sad that I didn't miss many games.

And when I say a small part I mean a 0.0000000001% part of me.

After I look at the plaque I notice all the awards and trophy's from my career.

During my 20 year career as a footballer I won 5 World Cups, 4 Olympic Gold Medals, 4 Champions League, 3 World Cup Golden ball's, 4 World Cup Golden Glove's, 3 WSL league titles, 8 NWSL league titles, 5 Ballon d'Or's, 6 The Best FIFA Women's Player awards, 12 time FIFPro World XI goalkeeper, and a shit ton of other personal awards.

I'm gonna toot my own horn here.

I was a fucking sick Goalkeeper.

Once I finish looking at all the awards and trophy's from my career, my 2035 World Cup teammates say some things about me which gives me time to reflect on my career

After the 2023 World Cup, a bunch of my friends retired which fucking sucked, but eventually I got over it.

We won gold at the Paris 2024 Olympic after beating Canada 3-1 in the Gold medal match.

After the 2024 Olympic's, Jessie and I left Arsenal and took the rest of the year off to rest and recuperate after not really having an off season since we moved to London.

During our break, Jessie and I packed up everything in our London home and we moved everything to our home in Miami.

In 2025 Jessie and I official Joined Real Miami and we stayed with them for the rest of our Career's.

At the 2027 World Cup, which was in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, We won the World Cup after beating France in the final 2-0.

At the LA 2028 Summer Olympics we beat Canada 3-1 again to win gold

After the 2028 Summer Olympics, Jessie got pregnant and on May 2, 2029 we welcomed twins into the world.
