In Emma's 21 years of living she has been to hell and back. She relies on a handful of people to keep her going. When one of them breaks her who will be there to pick up the pieces?
"They're so cute." I say as I look at Hope's babies.
Today's our first full day of USWNT Training camp which is being held in London and everyone who's in Europe is at the training camp
"What are their names again?" Lindsey asks.
"Armani Spencer Solo and Savannah Kinsley Solo." Hope says as she holds her twins.
"I miss my kids." I mumble then the door to the team meeting room opens.
I look towards the door and one of my friends walking into the room.
"FREYA." I shout then I run to my friend.
When I get to my friend I jump into her arms.
"What are you doing here?" I ask as I look at Hope's girlfriend.

"Everyone." Hope says as she intertwines her fingers with her girlfriend's. "Meet the new US Women's National Team doctor, Dr. Freya Nightingale."
"Aww." I say as I look at Freya. "Now you and Hopey can always be together."
"Hush child." Freya says as I get off her.
"How do you know Hope's girlfriend?" Kelley asks.
"I was the one who introduced them."
"We know that." Kelley says. "I mean how do you know Freya."
"Um." I say and look at Freya.
"You can tell them." Freya. "I don't care if they know."
I nod then I look at the team.
"Before I played for UCLA, the NCAA had me tested to see if I am in fact a woman and Freya was the doctor they used." I say. "After the testing ended Freya and I kept in contact and became friends due in part to the fact she was born like me."
"Born like you?" Emily questions.
"Born with a dick."
"Oh." Emily says. "I shoulda put that together."
"You're allowed." I say. "It's early."
"LOAD UP LADIES."
"Here Emma." Ash says then she hands me my bag and a coffee.
"Thanks." I say then I follow Ash to the bus.
Once on the bus I sit down next to Ali then relax for the drive to the training pitch.
"So Emma." Ali asks. "What'd you do during your three month quarantine?"
"Besides making sure Jessie was okay I learned three different languages." I say.
"Three?" Ali asks.
"Mhmm." I say. "Swedish, Spanish, and Japanese."
"So what languages do you know now?" Pinoe asks from the seat in front of me.
