Emma's POV
"Hey everyone." I say as I look at the crap ton of people walking into the lobby of the apartment building.
"Hi Emma." Ash says. "How's the head?
"It's good." I say as I wave at the rest of the national team ladies playing in Europe. "Only a grade two concussion thankfully."
"So how did you get all of us apartments here for the next few weeks?" Kelley asks.
Because of COVID-19 restrictions none of us were allowed to go back to America for Christmas so I told everyone they could come to London and we could spend Christmas together.
It wouldn't really make sense for any of us to go home for 1-2 weeks then come back to Europe and quarantine for the same amount of time while missing games.
"I own the building." I say.
"Excuse me?" Ash says as everyone looks at me like I'm an alien.
"My father had owned this building for a while, but after I threatened to ruin his business by telling everyone what he did he gave me this building and a lot of money to keep quiet." I say. "I took his building and his money then I ruined his business and his life anyway."
"So Crystal, Tierna, Julie, Chris and Tobin pay you rent?" Ali asks
"At a discounted rate they do." I say.
"Wow." Ash says as I grab my phone and the manila envelope's I made up
"No offense Emma, but where are Tobin and Chris?" Alex asks.
"And Julie." Moe says.
Last camp Moe and Julie came out and told us they were dating.
"There up in the penthouse with Jessie and the rest of the London ladies." I say. "I'll take you to them once I get the others situated."
"Thanks." Alex says then she turns her attention to her daughter.
"I made the groupings so all of you, except Alex and Moe, will be with your club teammates...Oh and the couples have apartments together so I hope that's okay." I say then everyone nods. "And After you all get settled we can watch the Champions league Draw and order some lunch."
"Sounds like a plan." Alyssa says
"Oh wait." I say then I look at the three Wolfsburg players. "You three are still together because I ran out of available apartments."
"That's fine." Sophia says as Ash and Ali nod in agreement.
"Cool." I say then I read off the Apartment assignments off my phone.
