Valentine's Birthday

Ash got up excitedly and went downstairs. Elisabeth waited for him at the foot of the stairs.
"Bah!" Elisabeth scared him.
Ash almost jumped into her arms in shock.
"Betty!" Ash exclaimed, trying to calm down. "Why?!"
"Happy Birthday, Ash!" Elisabeth greeted, cheerfully hugging him. "It's your birthday!"
"And so it is Valentine's Day!" Ash exclaimed cheerfully. "Let's see, shall I propose to Adalene today?"
"You haven't proposed?" Elisabeth asked in shock. "Ash Crimson, you've been crushing on her for more than a year!"
Ash grinned sheepishly. "What's for breakfast?"
"For the first time you've showered brushed your teeth before coming down!" Elisabeth said in surprise. "Whatever, come on. Jacques made some chocolate danishes specially for you."
"Yay!" Ash cheered, running to the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Gaspard was working on a secret project for Georgina. He preferred to do it the DIY way instead of buying her something.
So he decided to make her some homemade chocolates. He also put together a candy rose bouquet for her.
He went to her house and knocked on her door.
And she came out.
"Gassy!" Georgina greeted him with a hug. "You actually came!"
"Of course!"
They went on a date together to various places in Paris. After all, Paris is the city of romance.

Ash finished his breakfast and slumped down on the sofa with his phone.
He was gonna call Adalene to see if he can take her out. He thought it would be too bothersome to actually go there in person. Besides, what if her strict dad threw him out?
But before he could dial, Jacques came in with someone.
"Master Ash, you have a visitor," Jacques said.
Ash turned to look and saw Adalene standing there with something behind her back. Ash went up to her and she looked visibly nervous.
"What's up, Ady?" Ash asked with a smirk.
Adalene gulped and her mind went blank. She opened her mouth to wish him a Happy Valentine's Day, but something else came out instead.
"Happy Birthday!" Adalene greeted instead. She instantly regretted and tried again. "Oh Umm... Happy Valentine's Day!"
"How did you know?" Ash asked in surprise.
"Huh?" Adalene said, confused. "It's Valentine's Day! Everybody knows that!"
"No, I mean..." Ash said, smiling. "How did you know that it's my birthday too?"
"It is?!" Adalene asked, surprise. Her face lit up as she realised that she didn't screw up. "Happy Birthday!"
Elisabeth stood nearby, watching silently.
"Here, I brought you something!" Adalene said, flourishing the sachertorte she brought for him. "Will you be my Valentine?"
Ash immediately agreed and went out with her. He couldn't drive yet and was very annoyed for that.
Elisabeth immediately asked the maids to start decorating for a party.

Elisabeth was checking if everything was according to plan when suddenly, a portal appeared in the dining hall.
"Right this way, Gato," Saiki said, leading him in. "Elisabeth is waiting for you."
Elisabeth watched with a confused look as Gato came in, wearing a fancy suit and a bouquet of roses in his hand.
"Gato?" Elisabeth said, surprised. "Saiki...? How? And why?"
"Ash told me," Saiki said with a smirk. "Also, Happy Valentine's Day! Looks like the celebration is grand! But why does it look more like a birthday party than a Valentine's Party...? Also, you guys threw parties for Valentine's?"
"It's Ash's birthday," Elisabeth said. "And Valentine's Day. It's both! He went out with his girlfriend. While I'm here, planning this party."
"It's fine, Betty," Gato said with a smile. "We'll go to Japan on another day."
"Japan?!" Elisabeth asked in shock. "Saiki?! What's going on? Also, stop calling me that, Gato!"
Gato grinned sheepishly. Ash actually introduced Elisabeth to him as Betty. And he stuck to it.
"I have an idea," Saiki said. "How does Ash like a nice, Japanese Valentine's Day?"
"Saiki..." Elisabeth said, annoyed. "How do we tell Adalene that... that you're the monster that stalked and scared her?"
"Just tell her that 'Ash's cousin' has time-travelling abilities..." Saiki said, sounding annoyed. "Besides, I can't be the only one with this ability..."
"You're lame..." Elisabeth said, shaking her head. "Never mind, we'll just see..."
So Ash came home later with Adalene. Adalene was actually in on it the whole time.
"Happy Birthday!" Everyone wished at the same time.
Ash was almost thrown back in surprise.
They cut the cake, it wasn't a sachertorte but a rich moist chocolate cake instead, and started having a gift-giving session.
"Happy Birthday, Ash," Elisabeth said, giving him a large package.
Ash grinned and asked her to wait. He rushed up to his room and came back down with a bag.
He handed a box to Elisabeth, and gave one to Adalene. He gave one to Jacques and Saiki too.
"Happy Valentine's Day, guys!" Ash exclaimed cheerfully. And then he smirked at Gato. "Betty will give you something later".
"What do you say we have a round two of Valentine's Day in Japan?" Saiki suddenly said. "Ash?"
Ash nodded cheerfully. Adalene looked confused.
"Oh, you see, I have the ability to travel through time using portals," Saiki explained. "I'm actually Ash's ancestor from the past, and I sometimes come to visit."
Adalene almost fainted after hearing that.
"Nonono, don't worry," Saiki quickly said. "I'm completely normal, it's just that."
They somehow brainwashed Adalene and brought her to Japan. They had a round two of Valentine's Day there, while Elisabeth and Gato were only having their round one.
And Saiki brought Mikia. They were getting married soon.
Also, Ash finally got the chance to meet her.
"He looks just like you, Sai!" Mikia said, holding Ash's face in her hands. "Saiki, how?!"
"He somehow passed all of that, into this," Ash said, circling Saiki's face with finger before pointing to his own. "Funny, right?"
Mikia smiled and gave him a big hug.
"So I have no doubt that our future children would look just like you," Mikia said happily. "Wait a sec... we're actually gonna get married? For real?! Saiki, your parents agreed?!"
"Of course," Saiki said with a smirk. "They know how much you love me!"
They suddenly kissed, and the others turned away, leaving them behind. Saiki realised and started running after them.
"Oi wait!" Saiki called after them. "Ash! Wait! I don't know my way around this place! Ash! Oi! I wouldn't survive a day here without you as my guide!"
Mikia chuckled and followed him.
