20 March, Bora Bora, Morning
Yuki woke up to a surprise, a surprise of three tickets to the Yamasugi Takakiyo concert waiting on the coffee table with a heartwarming card from her parents. Apparently, they were out for some unknown reason, but promised that they would be back to join her at breakfast.
Breakfast, a thought that Kyo still dreaded to think about. Staying out of Yuki's sight was one thing, staying out of Yuki's sight during a breakfast buffet was another. But as we know, Yuki had no clue yet, seeing how Kyo had done a surprisingly good job at laying low with such little efforts.
Yuki smiled as she took the card to her room and clipped it to her diary before making a beeline for the attached bathroom. By the time she was out, her parents had returned, sitting in the living room with grins on their faces the next time she went there.
"Great, you're up," Mr Kushinada grinned. "Wanna go for breakfast?"
"Didn't you just get back?" Yuki pointed out as she sat herself down.
"Yeah, why?" Mr Kushinada
Yuki shrugged. "It just feels odd that you wanna go out again when you just returned."
"Yeah, but..." Mrs Kushinada smiled sheepishly. "I'm hungry."
Yuki shrugged and got up, making her way back to the room to get ready. The parents turned to each other rather urgently as soon as their daughter closed the door after her.
"You hid the cake properly, right?" Mrs Kushinada asked.
Her husband nodded. "I did. Just try to keep her away from the fridge for a while."
Mrs Kushinada gave him the thumbs up. "She won't be seeing the fridge if she isn't home."
"Nice," Mr Kushinada grinned.
Yuki exited the room before any of them could say more, so they just pushed the conversation aside and made a beeline for the resort cafe.

Kyo looked a little disturbed as he sat down at a table with his family and Benimaru. He insisted that he should bring something to cover his face like a hoodie or hat or something that would conceal his identity, but the others firmly disagreed.
"I should have brought a hoodie," Kyo frowned as he poked around his sausage and scrambled egg. "What if Yuki comes here?"
"Then let her come," Shizuka said. "We paid to be here, Kyo."
"Yeah, and besides, you'd look more suspicious if you wear a hoodie in the middle of tropical Bora Bora," Benimaru added. "Don't do anything stupid."
To their surprise, Yuki walked in with her parents, wearing smiles on their faces. Kyo thought that Yuki looked great in that blue gingham babydoll dress she wore, a matching faux frangipani pin in her hair. He wished he could give her a hug and wish her a happy birthday, but didn't she tell him to stay out.
"Remain calm," Saisyu whispered to his son. "She's already here, we're already here. It's clear that we didn't stalk her."
"That's not what I'm worried about," Kyo said. "She's gonna think that I'm planning to surprise her with another crappy party."
"Do you have anything up your sleeves?" Shizuka asked.
Kyo immediately shook his head. "Nope."
"Then why are you so worried?" Shizuka snorted. "Just stay put, and act normal even if she sees us. After all, we genuinely didn't know that she would be coming here as well."
"Besides, we are here on our own holiday, not for her," Saisyu added. "We're here to enjoy Bora Bora."
"And for Yagami's birthday, not hers," Benimaru snorted. "Speaking of which, I promised Aiko that I would make arrangements."
"Work on that," Shizuka said. "Better give that boy a great birthday, especially after everything he went through."
Kyo nodded. "Yeah, he did have it bad, poor guy."
"Did you feel as bad before he broke the curse?" Saisyu smirked.
"He didn't let me," Kyo shrugged. "Dude made me hate him for some reason."
Benimaru laughed. "Yeah, but I guess that may have been a sort of a coping mechanism."
"I won't be surprised," Kyo frowned. "Anyway, what are we supposed to do again?"
Benimaru frowned and took his phone out. "She requested me to gather the BOF since Yagami likes playing in the band the most, so she wants that to be a part of the gift..." he frowned as he read more. "And she also wants a beach venue with all our friends, then a large strawberry chocolate cake, caterers. She asked me to just book everything and give her the invoice so that she can wire the money in." The blond shrugged. "I told her there's no need but it's not like she's gonna listen."
"Tell her that we'll chip in as well," Saisyu said before taking a sip of his coffee.
Benimaru nodded and started texting her. "Okay... she also said that the K' gang is paying as well."
"Seriously, those kids are really nice people," Shizuka remarked, sipping her mocha. "They just look like thugs."
Kyo chuckled. "Stylish thugs, apparently. But yeah, those dudes are nice." He spotted Yuki walking past their table, a little dangerously close, as she went over to the buffet. "I think we better go, I don't wanna be here any longer."
"You sure you don't wanna go for a second round?" Saisyu said. "Because there's a lot more stuff that we didn't try and I still have a lot of space." He rubbed his belly with both hands.
"Yeah!" Shizuka nodded in agreement.
Kyo groaned but went with them to pile his plate up all over again.
