Rugal's Birthday

3rd February
Ash woke up before his alarm and literally stood in front of his phone, staring as he waited for it to ring.
It finally did, playing The Second Joker.
"Hah! You're late!" Ash cheerfully exclaimed pointing at it.
He stopped it and grabbed his waterproof music player before making his way to the bathroom to shower, blasting loud rock music as he did.
And the whole house knew that Ash was awake.

Jacques drove Ash to school in Elisabeth's stylish limousine. He was surprised to see Gaspard's car stop right in front of them, with the black-haired boy clumsily getting out.
"Oh, Gas..." Ash chuckled, watching him from the window. He grabbed his things and asked Jacques to unlock the door. "Aight, bye Betty. Bye Jackie."
Elisabeth and Jacques chuckled and waved him goodbye as he got out of the car and made his way into the school, meeting up with his friend near the courtyard.
"Oi!" Ash called, giving Gaspard's shoulder a tap.
"Hey, it's you!" Gaspard chuckled. "So did you do the homework that Mr. Moulin gave us yesterday?"
"Yeah, I have," Ash nodded. "For sure, you didn't finish it, right?"
Gaspard looked away sheepishly, confirming his suspicions.
"You didn't..." Ash smirked playfully. "I knew it. I bet you fell asleep on it."
Gaspard gave him a grin. "Heh..."
They went to their classroom and sat, with Gaspard painstakingly copying Ash's homework. Ash just sat, reading a book while waiting for the teacher to come in.
He suddenly felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He quickly took it out and saw a text from Adel.
Hey are you free?
Ash actually flinched in confusion when he saw the message. He started typing out a reply, not sure what the German wanted.
I'm in school now
The message was instantly marked as red and Adel immediately started typing.
We need your help
Ash groaned. Gaspard gave him a glance as he went on to type a reply.
What is it?
There was a pause before Adel replied.
Dad's birthday is next week
And we need to do something
Ash started laughing. Gaspard turned to him, slightly concerned.
"What's wrong with you?" He asked.
Ash chuckled. "Nah it's nothing. I'm texting someone."
Gaspard understood and nodded, going right back to his unfinished homework. Ash went back to his phone.

Are you guys in Paris now?
Adel instantly started typing.
Yeah
In our guesthouse
Ash smirked.
Aight we'll be there after school
He took a screenshot of the chat and sent it to Elisabeth. Elisabeth started laughing too.
"Rugal's birthday is next week," she told Jacques. "Wonder what they're gonna do."
"Sounds like Master Ash is gonna make a master plan," the elderly butler chuckled.

Right after picking Ash up from school, Jacques drove to the Bernsteins' guesthouse. They had somehow sent Rugal to a wine-tasting party while Rose decided that it was best to have this discussion over a tea party.
"So... what should we do?" Ash asked as he sipped his tea.
"I don't know, that's why we called you here," Adel shrugged. "The parties are usually top-notch because of you, right?"
"Actually... no..." Ash sheepishly admitted. "I just go to the parties, not plan them."
"So who plans them, if not you?" Rose asked politely.
Ash smirked. "Y to the A to the G A mi. It's Yagami."
The Bernsteins looked at each other in surprise.
"Yagami plans parties?" Adel asked in surprise.
"Yeah, and the K' dude too," Ash shrugged. "They're actually pretty fun now, not gonna lie."
The Bernsteins looked at each other again.
"Can you plan this time, instead?" Rose asked again. "You seem like the right person for us now, Monsieur Ash."
"Please, I'm too young to be a Monsieur, Mademoiselle Rose," Ash grinned. "But I'll take this task."
"And I'll help," Elisabeth added with a smile. "Just you see, it's gonna be more than you expect."
"Great, so we'll pay for your expenses," Adel said. "Rose still feels kinda bad for not accepting Dad's gender-bent condition at first."
"Oh yeah, now I realise how much he had to suffer as a girl, despite not growing up as one," Rose added. "Good thing he turned back to normal."
Elisabeth nodded. "Sure. I have no objection to that."
So it was settled. Ash and Elisabeth were gonna arrange Rugal's birthday.
