A dark figure crept in the night, carefully hiding in the shadows as it snuck towards the window.
With piercing eyes, it looked into the window, scanning for what it wanted. The eyes were laced with glee when they finally found what they were looking for.
Red hair sticking out from under the blanket.
The figure carefully removed one of the framed plate glass pieces and slowly made its gloved arm towards the latch of the window, opening it so cautiously that there was not a single sound.
It climbed into the window and went towards the sleeping redhead on the bed.
The figure pulled the blanket off the sleeping person, earning a gasp.
"I'll make you pay for what you did to me..." the figure whispered.
It grabbed the person's hair, dragging them out of bed. For some reason, their hair seemed oddly longer than before.
Unsurprisingly, the victim grabbed the attacker's wrist and heavily pulled it towards the ground, crushing down on the attacker's arm. It took everything to keep the unknown person from letting out an anguished yell.
As if that wasn't enough, the person linked their lean legs around the attacker's arm, kicking against his face and forcing them to let go of their hair.
A red flame suddenly appeared in the dark, releasing a mysterious glow that eerily illuminated the room.
With a rather feminine Kiai, the person charged towards the attacker, giving it a fiery blow. They then clawed the attacker, tearing some of the camouflage outfit he was wearing.
"Who are you and what do you want from me?!" It was a girl's voice. That's when the attacker realised it was the wrong person.
Before the intruder could contemplate anything else, a red spark of fire rapidly slid through the ground, hitting him. Then, the young woman charged towards them and gave them what was familiarly known as Iori's 100 Shiki: Oniyaki. This confused the intruder even more as they scrambled to their feet, running towards the window and quickly climbing out. The girl they tried to attack tried to claw at the dark figure as it climbed out, but failed.
She was left to just watch the dark figure noiselessly running down the thick snow-covered ground, climbing out the fence built around the resort.
Running footsteps suddenly came, followed by the door being opened by Iori. Benimaru was right behind him, just as concerned.
"Is everything okay?" Iori asked. "We heard quite the commotion here..."
Aiko shook her head. "It's nothing. Some guy broke in but I fought him off, don't worry."
Benimaru gasped. "Are you okay? He didn't hurt you, right?"
"Beni, it's Aiko," Iori rolled his eyes. "If someone attacks her, it would only end bad for the attacker. Not Aiko."
"You're right, Niisan," Aiko chuckled. "I beat him up pretty bad..."
A loud snore suddenly came. Everyone turned to the sleeping figure of Honoka, covered entirely behind thick blankets.
"She didn't even notice?!" Aiko's jaw dropped.
"Yagami, your girl is such a heavy sleeper..." Benimaru laughed.
"Good thing too..." Iori sighed. "At least she won't be worrying about this weirdo intruder now."
Someone else came running next. It was Foxy.
"What happened?" Foxy asked.
They looked at her in surprise.
"You're late," Aiko snorted. "The guy's gone."
"Gone?" Foxy asked in surprise. "Who's gone?"
They decided to just shrug.
"Aiko just had a nightmare..." Iori quickly said. "Nothing to worry about."
Foxy frowned. She knew something was up, but they're just trying to cover it. She waited for the guys to fix the window and leave before speaking with Aiko. "Aiko, was it really just a nightmare?"
Aiko sighed and made sure that Honoka was still asleep. "Someone broke in and attacked me. Of course, I didn't leave them unscathed."
Foxy nodded. "Did you see what they looked like?"
"Nope..." Aiko shook her head. "But they did say something, I think..."
"What did they say?" Foxy asked anxiously.
"Something like I'll make you pay for what you did," Aiko shrugged. "I think they got the wrong person. Left abruptly too."
Foxy silently nodded and left the room. She knew, for sure, that whoever that attacked Aiko was the same person who left that threatening note.
'I gotta tell Kriz...' Foxy frowned, making her way towards the guys' room.
She opened the door a little and peeked in to see that all three of them were fast asleep, with Krizalid snoring the most. K' stirred slightly, making her quickly close the door and hurry away to her own room. Seirah still slept soundly.
Foxy heaved a sigh of relief and tried to get some sleep for what's left of the night.
