"No, you are not kidnapping me," Honoka sternly said when Kyo entered the room. "Kyo-san, if that's what you're planning, don't even think about it."
Kyo frowned and went to sit on the cream sofa of Benimaru's living room. The blond chuckled and sat on an armchair across from them.
"I dunno, Kyo, I feel like we shouldn't do anything this year," Benimaru stated, pulling at his blond strands. "Last year was kinda extreme, don't you think?"
"I agree with Beni," Aiko chimed in. "Last year was extreme. You guys stole his bike, and then caught him with the car's sunroof. What if Niisan had hit his head or something?"
"He almost bit my hand off..." Goro frowned.
"Well, he almost killed me, what about that?" Kyo pointed out.
"And you still wanna do something?" Benimaru hissed.
Kyo shrugged. "It's his birthday, after all. It has to be special."
"Kyo-nii, what you did during Yuki's birthday was beastly," Aiko countered. She turned to Yuki and put a hand on her shoulder. "Yuki, what do you think? It did leave a mark on you, right?"
Yuki frowned, nodding. "You were very mean, Kyo. Especially when you scared me at the station."
"He actually planned for us to do something like that too, ya know?" Goro snitched. "We just didn't, seeing how scared you were."
"Goro!" Kyo whined.
"That was a dirty trick, Kyo," Yuki said, looking hurt.
Benimaru smirked. "Also, Yuki. He was actually planning to use the real gangsters that lurk about there to scare you. If it wasn't for Terry suggesting to clean the place up first, he would've used that idea."
Yuki gasped. "Kyo!"
"You guys are so mean," Kyo sighed. He met Yuki's gaze and smiled wryly. "Sorry, Yuki... I was drunk."
"No, you weren't," Goro quickly chimed in. "You were as sober as... as... you were sober."
"Hah!" Benimaru grinned. "Now I'm wondering if you really were drunk the time you told me to beware of Yagami because of the full moon. I got a nightmare because of that. You know that?"
"You got a nightmare about Niisan?" Aiko asked in surprise.
Kyo started laughing. "He gives everyone nightmares."
"I'm not finished with you," Yuki spat, silencing him.
"Yes, I got a nightmare about your brother," Benimaru sighed. "It was really vivid too."
"How was it?" Aiko asked, interested. "What did he do?"
"I... I don't remember," Benimaru hesitated.
"Oh come on, I know you do," Aiko grinned. "Come on, Beni! Tell me!"
Benimaru sighed, defeated. "I was walking in Harajuku, and I saw a hooded guy leaning against a lamppost. Then I felt hungry and went to a crepe stall to buy one. The seller was your brother, those darn icy eyes of his... but I didn't seem to notice then. I then decided to buy you a cat-eared hoodie dress and entered a shop and he was the cashier, in that disguise of his. He knew I was buying it for you and called me Ojisan."
Aiko snorted. "He called me Ojousan with that same disguise. I thought he was a tramp, to be honest."
Benimaru chuckled. "Yeah, then I left the shop and the hooded guy was standing outside, leaning against the window. Then I was hungry and went to a cafe to eat. I couldn't see the waiter's face because all I saw was his notebook whenever I looked up. Then I ate, then the hoodie dude came in and sat at a table next to me, then I looked at the waiter as I left. He was Yagami, so was the cook. Then I went to a bar. A guy kept staring at me at the bar, and the bartender was masked. Then it rained. Then the hoodie guy ran in and made his way straight to the stage. He was the saxophonist, playing Arashi no Saxophone in a band."
"I thought you didn't remember?" Aiko chimed in.
"Yeah, but well.." Benimaru sighed. "Anyway, I confronted the guy that kept staring at me. He took his mask and cap off and that was Yagami too. The bartender was him too. I tried to run away but turns out, the musicians playing on stage were him too. All of them, even the hooded guy."
"Then?" Honoka asked eagerly.
"I ran out of the bar and bumped into someone. It was the disguised Yagami from the shop but I didn't know. I told him about the bar but he laughed and took his wig off. It was him too. I started screaming and tried to run, but I was cornered. There was a Yagami army behind me and he was in front of me. They wanted me to join them. Disguise Yagami grabbed my neck, his hair all over his eyes, and threatened to kill me."
"Then?" Kyo asked, bewildered by the nightmare that his joke had caused.
"I woke up, sweating, and called you, dingus," Benimaru ended. "But it didn't end there. I tried to sleep, but saxophone music went off in my backyard."
"Niisan didn't tell me he did it again," Aiko said in surprise.
"Did what again?" Honoka asked, but was ignored.
"No, it wasn't him," Benimaru shook his head. "It was that fink Kusabimaru's goon. I caught him a few days later. He stole Yagami's trick! I told Yagami about it and he was personally offended."
"But you guys didn't tell me?" Aiko asked in surprise.
Benimaru frowned. "He didn't tell you?"
Aiko shook her head.
"Whatever, let's get on with this party," Kyo chimed in.
"No, you're not gonna make Iori suffer like what you had done to Yuki," Honoka quickly said.
"But you guys did that to me during my birthday, remember?" Kyo pointed out. "How about that?"
"That was Ralf's idea," Benimaru shrugged. "Not ours."
"Ben, it was yours," Goro snitched again. "You're the one who suggested it, then Ralf made it worse."
Yuki agreed, making Kyo menacingly turn towards Benimaru.
"Kill..." Kyo growled. "I'll kill you... Beni!"
Luckily, Goro quickly caught the younger man in a rear bear hug, not letting him fly to attack Benimaru. The blond promptly left the room.
"I think we shouldn't do anything, Kyo," Goro quickly said. "Then Yagami would be the one flying at you like how you're flying at Ben now. And I might not be there to stop him like I did you."
Kyo instantly stopped and pried Goro's arms off him, getting up with a frown. He plopped down on the seat next to his instead.
Benimaru soon came in, holding a tray of clinking glasses. "Sparkling water?"
Everyone took a glass.
"Thanks, Beni," Aiko smiled.
"You're welcome, Aiko," Benimaru smirked back. "Has Kyo cooled yet?"
"Yes," Kyo scowled, sipping his sparkling water.
Aiko finished her glass and gave Honoka a slight nudge, motioning for her to follow. Honoka nodded and downed her drink before getting up.
"Sorry, guys, but we have to go now," Aiko said. "We have to do... something..."
"Yeah, something to do with Iori's birthday," Honoka grinned. "Bye guys!"
And the two of them promptly left.
As soon as they were out, Honoka let out a big burp, shaking her head as gas rushed through her nose.
"Wow, I shouldn't have drank the sparkling water so quick..." Honoka sighed. "Gas is strong."
To her surprise, Aiko let out a burp too. "Sorry about that..."
They giggled and got into Aiko's pink Toyota Prius before driving away.
