15 March
"Morning, sunshine!" Terry woke up to see the grinning face of Mary in front of him. He turned to the other side, pulling the blanket up to his face, but Mary wasn't giving up that easily. "Aww, come on! Why you gotta be like that?"
Terry groaned and pressed the pillow against his ear. "Stop... it's holiday. Let me sleep..."
"Dude, it's noon," Mary smirked.
Terry gasped and sat up in shock, his dishevelled hair all over his face. "What?! I've slept till noon?!" He looked and was surprise to see that the room was dark. "Wait, why is it still so dark?"
Mary burst into laughter. "That's because it's only six!"
"What?!" Terry exclaimed in shock. "You woke me up at six on a vacation?!"
With that, he pulled the blanket back up and laid down on the bed.
"Hey, don't be like that!" Mary scrambled onto the bed to pull him out. "Terry! Wake up! I have a surprise for you!"
"It can wait, I still wanna sleep," Terry grumbled through his comfy blanket.
Alas, Terry was successfully dragged out of bed. He groaned and fell back onto the bed.
"Mary, please, it's six!" Terry moaned. "Why are you waking me up so early? Even the sun isn't out yet!"
"Yeah, but the moon is," Mary grinned, pulling at his hands. "Come on, Terry. It will be fun!"
Terry sighed and sat up, his long blond strands still all over his face. Mary chuckled and ruffled his hair. "Come on, sleepy head. I have the whole day planned out." She pinched his cheeks, causing him to whine. "We're gonna have so much fun!"
"Why?" Terry groaned again, gently pushing her off. "What's the occasion?"
Mary gasped dramatically, a hand on her chest. "Oh my gosh! He doesn't remember!"
"Mary, please just tell me," Terry sighed, getting up.
"Terry, it's your birthday!" Mary laughed, taking his hands and dancing around with him. "We're gonna have some fun together! Come on!"
Terry shrugged. "Can I make a request as the birthday boy?"
"Well, what do you want?" Mary smiled.
"A delay," Terry said. "And some more sleep."
Mary shook her head and placed her hands on his shoulders, shaking him. "Nuh-uh, Terry Bogard. You're not doing that. You're gonna get ready and meet me in the living room. Stat!"
Terry sighed and begrudgingly dragged himself over to the bathroom. "Close the door on your way out. I need to get dressed."
Mary giggled and excitedly left the room, closing the door after her. She met with the others in the living room and grinned. "He's up! And he's getting ready."
"Excellent," Rock smirked, pressing his fingers together in the way of a scheming evil villain. "Alright, you guys gonna meet us for breakfast, right?"
"Yeah, we will meet you guys there in an hour or so," Mary nodded. "Now hurry up and act tired and sleepy."
They didn't even have to act the part since they were the part. Terry soon stumbled out and looked at them in surprise. They were indeed a sleepy bunch.
"Hey, Terry," Andy greeted. "Happy birthday."
"Aww, thanks," Terry chuckled and hugged him.
Rock and Scott hugged him too, while the rest echoed their wishes as well. Mary chuckled and waved at them before pulling her man away.
"Alright, I'm taking him away," Mary chuckled. "Bye! Meet you guys later for breakfast!"
Terry seemed to realise something. "Wait, the resort breakfast isn't for another hour. Are we gonna go walking around on an empty stomach till then?"
Mary chuckled. "Of course not! There's this little breakfast shop that I found, it opens in ten minutes. We can go there."
Terry shrugged. "Okay."

Rock watched as Terry and Mary left the chalet and turned to the rest. "Alright, guys. Let's get this show on the road!"
"Can we have an hour's worth of sleep before that?" Mai yawned. "Please?"
"Yeah, I don't mind that," Rock chuckled. "I actually wanted to start this a lot later, but Mary didn't agree."
"But I agree," Scott got up and stretched. "Yeah, I'm gonna turn in for now."
They all had a short nap but Rock decided that it was best to stay awake and start working on the plan, especially since he was planning to cook out the meals. He pulled on his apron and made his way to the kitchen, even bringing his portable speaker along to play some music for motivation.
When Scott found him an hour later, Rock was dancing as he placed a batch of marinated chicken on the countertop. He looked up at Scott and grinned.
"You've already started on the chicken?" Scott asked in surprise.
"Yeah, just to marinate," Rock said. "Anyway, you getting ready for breakfast yet?"
"In a flash," Scott said, scanning the kitchen. "Anyway, what are you planning to make again?"
"Well, after breakfast, I'm planning to start on the cinnamon rolls," Rock said, taking his apron off. "Then afterwards, I wanna start with the croquettes. I'll finish the chicken last since it's best served hot."
Scott looked at him in surprise. "But how are you gonna make the cinnamon rolls without the dough? We gonna go get it later?"
Rock shook his head, laughing. "Don't be silly. I make my dough from scratch."
"Okay..." Scott scratched his head as he left the kitchen. "You wanna change as well?"
"Yeah," Rock said and followed him to the room he shared with the Pattons.
