Yuki's Scary Birthday (behind the scenes)

Kyo woke up and looked around at his friends. All of them were still fast asleep.
All except one.
He almost fell out of his bed when he saw Iori's face glowing on the bed next to his.
"Yagami!" Kyo whisper-shouted. "What are you doing?"
"KOF," Iori showed him the screen of his tablet, which displayed his in-game counterpart doing his win pose.
"So early?" Kyo asked in surprise.
"Yeah, 'cause can't sleep," Iori frowned, going back to his tablet.
"Why?"
"You snore like a monster."
Kyo rolled his eyes and got out of bed, making his way to the bathroom to take a shower. When he came out again, he only saw Iori's face being the only thing illuminating the dark together with the screen of his tablet. He thought that the moon did best represent him, especially since his face seemed to be the moon in the dark room.
Kyo snorted and wore a pair of jeans and a leather jacket with his clan's emblem on the back before taking his things and leaving the room.
"I'll give you the signal when it's time," Kyo told Iori before leaving the room.
"Yeah, yeah," Iori rolled his eyes.
Kyo sighed and left, making his way to Yuki's room down the corridor. He hoped that she was awake since most of his roommates were still asleep, save for Iori.
Who had gotten back to sleep as soon as Kyo left the room, but he doesn't know.
So Kyo made his way to the girls' room and knocked, hoping that Yuki was awake.
The door instantly opened, revealing Yuki wearing a beautiful floral white dress with pink flowers. She had even tied a bow to the side of her hair, wearing Sakura-shaped glitter on her eyelids.
"Hey, Yuki," Kyo smiled at her. "You look beautiful in that dress."
Yuki chuckled. "Thanks! My mom got it for me."
"Wanna go for some breakfast?" Kyo grinned.
Yuki nodded and asked him to wait a minute, running back into the room. She came back out with her bag and followed him downstairs to the hotel's restaurant for breakfast.
"Are the girls awake yet?" Kyo asked as he ate his food.
"No, they're still asleep, especially Honoka," Yuki chuckled. "What about the guys? Are they awake?"
"Yagami is," Kyo shrugged. "He woke up early to sit on his bed and play KOF ALL STAR."
"Oh..." Yuki nodded.
"In the dark, with all the curtains drawn," Kyo added. "Imagine seeing only his face lit up in the dark. Like the moon or something."
Yuki let out a giggle that Kyo always adored. He smiled and just watched her.
"He's not coming down for breakfast, then?" Yuki asked, bringing him out of his daze.
"Probably waiting for Ben so that he could keep an eye on him and Aiko," Kyo said half truthfully. "You know how he is, right?"
Yuki snorted. "Yeah, I know. Aiko's still asleep, so is Honoka."
"What about Athena?" Kyo asked. "Kensou snores terribly and if she's a morning person, he'd automatically be one too."
If Iori was there, he would disagree and say he was even worse of a snorer. He personally thought that Kensou wasn't so bad, mainly because his bed was in the far corner and away from him.
"So where do you wanna go?" Yuki asked, giving him a hopeful smile.
"Wanna go to Dream Amusement Park?" Kyo smirked.
Yuki nodded happily. "I'd love that!"
"Great! Let's go!" Kyo grinned.
Kyo grinned and booked a taxi to go to the Dream Amusement Park. He was glad that Yuki was enjoying herself, wearing a smile all the while. He knew that she was also expecting him to acknowledge her birthday, but didn't because of the surprise he cooked up for her.

"Do we really have to do this surprise kidnap thingy?" K' groaned when he joined Iori and his gang. "Like... why?"
"Let's just do this to please him," Benimaru sighed.
"Yeah, because this is our chance to satisfy ourselves by beating him up!" Iori smirked and nudged K'. "Dash, what do you say?"
"I agree with Iori," K' smirked. "What do you say, Beni?"
"Actually, I agree with you guys too," Benimaru chuckled. "Kyo going over the top with this birthday..."
"Whatever, as long as we get to beat him up, right?" Iori smirked.
"Niisan..." Aiko snorted.
"What, it's true!" Iori pointed out. "Tell me, how do you feel about Kyo making your good friend worried and scared."
"I'll feel like skinning him alive," Aiko threateningly said.
This surprised Benimaru a bit, but he was still proud of her for being determined and protective.
"I agree with Aiko..." Benimaru frowned. "If he ruins her birthday, I'm electrocuting him and show him what electricity burns feel like..."
