Kula's Birthday

Alright, hey guys! Okay, this was supposed to take place after K's birthday, but totally forgot about it whoops...
By the way, this took place between K's birthday and the South Town Festival. So it's somewhere in the middle.
So anyway, here it is! Hope you enjoy it!

29th May
"Has everything been set up?" Krizalid asked Iori.
"Course it is," Iori smirked over the phone. "Is she being kept busy?"
"Defo," Zayn said, leaning closer to Krizalid's phone. "Sylvie, as begrudging as we were to ask her, agreed."
"So she's bringing her to the destination?" Iori asked
"You bet," Zayn said. "Dash is doing something in the kitchen... I honestly have no idea what..."
They went to the kitchen to find out. They were amused to see K' wearing an apron while doing something with a piping bag.
"What are you doing?" Zayn asked. Iori started laughing.
"I'm making the Princess some unicorn cupcakes," K' said, using the back of his wrist to wipe off some sweat from his forehead. "Trust me, it's harder than it looks."
"Awww!" Iori, Zayn, and Krizalid said together.
"Never thought you'd be making cupcakes," Iori's scratchy voice came out of the phone. "Anyway, guys! I wanna see! Make a video call!"
K' groaned.
"As if icing these things aren't hard enough!" K' said, annoyed. "Anyway, Yagami, everything set?"
"Yep!" Iori said, walking around the hall. "Max has and Diana has done a pretty good job with the decorating."
"That's a relief," K' said, adding a lollipop on top of a cupcake. "I thought we'd actually have to be doing that too."
All of a sudden, the oven dinged. K' put the piping bag down and rushed towards the oven to take out a tray of cookies topped with colourful candies.
"What are you gonna make?" Krizalid asked, slightly amused. "Butter sandwich crackers?"
"No," K' said, putting the tray on the counter to cool. "Ice cream sandwich cookies."
Zayn and Krizalid eyed the cookies, their mouths watering.
"No, you're not stealing the cookies now," K' firmly said, moving the tray further away from them. "Eat them once they become ice cream sandwiches, during the party."
The two men groaned while Iori started laughing.
"When are you guys coming?" Maxima asked when he passed Iori. "When's the cake coming?"
"We'll collect it on the way," Zayn said. "Also, Dash, how on Earth are you gonna bring those dainty cakes to the hall without destroying them?"
"I'll pack 'em in boxes, duh," K' said, taking out a tub of ice cream from the freezer. "Also, are the goodie bags ready?"
"Are the goodie bags ready?" Iori asked the rest, hearing what K' said.
"Almost!" Isolde said, helping Seirah put them together. "Just a bit more."
"Funny how she's actually fifteen," Iori said, grinning over the phone. "I don't remember seeing anyone distribute goodie bags in school after the age of twelve..."
"I didn't even know these things even existed," Krizalid admitted. "Anyway, yay! More Candy!"
"Speaking of Candy..." Maxima said, coming to Iori again. "Doctor Makishima agreed that he'd try to revive Candy. Only, he said it would take long. But maybe she'll be done by Christmas."
"That's nice," K' said. "Kula's gonna be so happy to have Candy back."
"Yeah but thing is..." Maxima said. "The doctor needs her head. But thing is... Kula is so attached to it, that she doesn't wanna let go."
"Then just tell her, idiot," K' said, scooping ice cream onto a cookie. "I'm sure she'd give him."
"Yeah but the doc also said that isn't necessary for the head now," Maxima said. "He's developing the body first."
"Then why do you even worry?" Krizalid asked. "Anyway, are Kula's friends there?"
"The party doesn't start for another two hours," Iori said. "Anyway, quick. We need the ice cream."
"How's the chocolate milk fountain?" Krizalid asked, his mouth watering at the thought of it.
"Ready," Iori said. "Aiko's already drinking from it."
And so she was. She was tired after laying candles on each table and decided to have a drink instead.
K' forced Krizalid and Zayn to help him pack the deserts. He put the ice cream sandwiches in the freezer.
"Go get dressed," Zayn said. "And shower first."
"Was gonna do that anyway," K' said. "All those baking made me sweat!"

Sylvie took Kula shopping. She specifically brought her to the boutique and offered to pay for whatever she bought. Even for accessories.
"Thank you, Sylvie!" Kula said cheerfully. "This dress is so cute!"
Sylvie grinned and texted K'.
Syl: Zit done?
K': Almost
Syl: Zit time to bring her?
K': Not yet
K': No cake yet
Syl: Orait
"Look at how she types," K' said, showing his phone to Zayn. "Okay, let's get the cake."
So they picked Athena up, together with the cake she prepared for Kula. She was surprised to see K' holding three boxes.
"What's that?" Athena asked, climbing in next to K' with an icebox.
"Desserts for the Princess," K' said. "Homemade."
"More like Dash-made," Zayn said from the front. "Right, Dash?"
"Yes..." K' said, annoyed. "Whatever, come on."
They went to the hall and saw how it was decorated. It looked more like a wedding hall than a birthday party.
"This is grand..." K' said, bringing the desserts he made.
"Not as grand as Desperate Chain Over-Drive," Zayn said with a smirk. "You guys get what I mean, right?"
"Yes, Zayn," the other two said, annoyed.
They set up the desserts and Zayn laid out a few bottles of drinks. Nakoruru and her sister came in with more ice cream and soda.
"There's enough for cream sodas and ice cream alone!" Rimururu said, grinning. "Oniisama, can you help?"
Technically, she was referring to Iori. For some reason, he became the big brother among the young ones. Krizalid, K', and Zayn grinned.
"That's cute if you asked me," Kyo said, coming in with a tray of cheesy fish cakes. "Like before, Yagami was the... annoying dude that wanted nothing but to destroy me. And now he's the big brother."
"So I've seen," Ash came in with Elisabeth. "He's always like... Kusanagi this, Kusanagi that. Anyway, where shall I put this sachertorte?"
Ash actually invited Saiki with him, but he refused, saying that he didn't want his presence to be known to the others after what he's done.
"Well, says the one that threatened us Sacred Treasures to steal our... treasures," Chizuru said, coming in with her signature sweet and sour chicken. "You stole mine, you stole Yagami's, you almost stole Kusanagi's too!"
Ash grinned sheepishly and went to the buffet table to put the sachertorte there. Elisabeth chuckled and bagged a table for Ash and herself.
"Where's the Princess?" Maxima asked, slightly impatient. "Where's Sylvie?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot to give her the green light," K' said, taking his phone out. "There, she'll be here in a jiffy."
Sylvie texted K' and told him that they were just down the road.
The others quickly stood up and flooded near the entrance. K' was annoyed to be shoved to the back by all of his friends. He tried to elbow his way to the front to see Kula's reaction, but for some reason, no one allowed it.
So he was stuck at the back, with the bouquet he got for her.

Sylvie asked the taxi driver to stop in front of the hall.
"Where are we going, Sylvie?" Kula asked innocently.
Sylvie pulled her out of the car and paid the driver. She brought her to the hall.
They cleverly stuck no signs on the exterior of the hall.
"Where are we, Sylvie?" Kula asked.
Sylvie said nothing and opened the large double doors.
"Surprise!" Everyone exclaimed as soon as Kula stepped in.
Kula just stood, rooted to the ground. Iori nodded to the rest.
The crowd split, revealing the back of an annoyed K' standing with a bouquet of blue and purple roses.
K' didn't realise and was actually cursing aloud.
"These idiots are so mean..." K' said, annoyed. "I came to surprise the Princess with these gifts, and they shove me back. How am I gonna give this to her now?"
"Uh... Dash?" Zayn called to gain his attention. "You might wanna turn around."
K' did and realised how the crowd had dispersed and Kula stood at the centre, looking at him.
"Dash?"
"Kula?" K' said, surprised. He quickly recovered and started walking to her with the bouquet in his hand. "Happy birthday, Princess!"
Kula ran and threw her arms around him, almost squashing the flowers between them.
"Dash!" Kula exclaimed. "Are these flowers for me?"
"Uh... yes, they are," K' said, handing the flowers to her. "I got them specially for you."
"Thank you!" Kula cheerfully exclaimed. "They are so pretty!"
K' blushed a little and turned away.
Only to see Maxima grinning and handing him a plate of K's unicorn cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches.
K' took it and gave it to Kula.
"I made these for you," K' said, handing it to her. "Specially for you."
Kula squealed and took it happily. She started eating them when Rimururu came and cheerfully wished her a Happy Birthday.
Foxy and Diana brought out the cake and they all sang her a Happy Birthday. Kula was really happy that they celebrated her birthday.
She blew out the candles and made a wish before cutting the cake up and serving it to everyone.
And then they had a mega ice cream party with ice cream (of course), soda floats, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cake, and ice cream everything.
King brought some strawberry sorbet for Kula, which she ate alone.
With Rimururu.
"Can we invite Rimu and Honoka for a sleepover?" Kula begged. "Pleeeeeaaaase?"
Her housemates agreed and Kula was even happier. The ninjas came too, but they didn't stay for a sleepover since they had a super-secret mission on their hands.
