King and Yuri waited at a cafe with a cup of coffee each. They were expecting Mai since she's the one that called an emergency meeting with them.
"What's taking her so long?" Yuri asked, slowly stirring her coffee with a teaspoon. "She isn't usually so late..."
King shrugged and took a sip of her cafe au lait. Well, she soon came in, bursting with excitement.
"I have big news!" Mai announced, entering the cafe. "I signed up for a cooking contest!"
She showed them her phone and squealed. Her friends snickered.

Cooking contest for teens!!
Wanna be the next master chef? Sign up now!
From ages 13 to 18.
Place: South Town Hall, Central Park.
Time: 12.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.

"Mai, that ad says the participants should be of age thirteen to eighteen," King pointed out. "And you're like... twenty-something..."
Mai looked confused. She looked at her phone and giggled. She swiped to the next photo and then showed it to them. It was the same contest, but for adults under thirty. And it took place at night instead.
"I see," Yuri grinned. "So you're joining?"
"Yes!" Mai exclaimed happily. "Oh I need to practice. Will you girls help?"
They grinned at her. She eventually brought them to her home and started torturing them by forcing them to eat her cooking. It's not that she was a bad cook, she was amazing! It's just that, she made them overeat to the maximum level.

Benimaru smirked. He knocked on the Yagami home's front door with a grin, expecting Aiko. He held a bouquet of red roses, and put on his best smelling cologne.
The door opened and Benimaru inwardly groaned. It was Iori, not his favourite lady.
"Seriously, why do you always ruin the moment by opening the door instead of your sister?" Benimaru couldn't help but lose his patience. "Whenever I'm expecting her to open the door, it would be you and your menacing glare. Why?! Yagami, why?!"
Iori crossed his arms and continued glowering at him. Benimaru just sighed.
"Just... just call Aiko, will ya?" Benimaru said, so done with the redhead.
Iori kept his 'menacing' act and reentered the house, trying to keep from laughing. Benimaru looked so done, and Iori wished he had taken a picture of him.
He went towards Aiko's room where loud music radiated. He knocked on the door and his sister opened, with her hair messily done in a ponytail.
"Your lover boy is here to see you," Iori said with a smirk. "Better go see him before he barges in."
Aiko looked at her clothes and sighed. She grabbed a sweater and pulled the scrunchie off her hair. She went to answer Benimaru while adjusting her hair and the sweater.
'These two are hopeless,' Iori couldn't help but chuckle.
He went closer to take a look at what's going on.

"I joined a cooking contest!" Benimaru announced to the Yagamis.
Aiko started clapping while Iori snickered. Benimaru frowned.
"What?" Benimaru asked, jolting his head at Iori. "I can cook!"
"Great!" Iori simply said with a yawn. "I wish you all the best."
Benimaru rolled his eyes and went back to looking at Aiko. He always wondered how he fell in love with her when she looked almost exactly like a female version of her brother, whom he greatly disliked. Up until he became his girlfriend's brother, that is. Ever since, he's been trying to make peace with him. (This was before the cruise incident btw lol)
So he started practicing for the contest, even inviting the Yagamis and the rest of his friends over to judge his cooking.
"What do you think?" Benimaru asked, looking intently at their thoughtful faces. "Is it tasty?"
They were all speechless at Benimaru's excellent cooking. They just nodded and only spoke after finishing the entire meal.
"When and where is this contest?" Kyo asked while washing his hands.
"Next week, Southtown," Benimaru said. "I'll have to take a flight the day before."
"No need..." K' begrudgingly said. "We'll take you."
Benimaru looked at him in surprise but thanked him anyway.
"I wanna see how he handles the competition," K' whispered to Iori with a smirk. "His cooking is good and all, but... I feel like he's a little too overconfident. Besides, what if they're better cooks than him?"
Iori smothered a laugh and remained calm. They were all looking forward to this contest.
