"Charli, put your phone away at the dinner table." Heidi chastised.

Charli was smiling down at her phone. She glanced up after hearing her name. "Sorry, mom."

Texting one last reply, she set her phone in her lap. Dixie rolled her eyes from across the table.

"You've been on your phone a lot recently," Marc observed.

Charli shrugged, "I have to keep up on TikTok and I made a lot of new friends on there."

"That reminds me," Dixie fed her pizza crust to one of the dogs, "We got asked to go to LA from Thomas who owns the Hype House. He wants us to join and build our brand over there."

Marc sucked in an unsure breath. "I don't know..."

"Please," Charli begged, "I can finally see my friends and we can do TikToks together."

Heidi exchanged a look with her husband. "We'll have to think about it and find when we can take time off work."

Marc nodded, "That's right because the only way you two are going is if we all go."

"That's fair," Dixie said, at the same time Charli pouted.

She excused herself and continued to text on her phone as she left to go upstairs to her room.

"Hey, honey?"

"Yes?" He plopped himself beside her on the couch.

"Have you been seeing Charli's Instagram posts?"

She nodded, "Sure I have."

"Have you been reading her comments?"

"Are people being mean to her?" She asked sitting up.

"No, it's just she mentioned every one of her new friends that she made except for this Lil Huddy person."

"I've seen a couple, I figured he knew the rest of them."

He shoved the phone closer to her face. "He's been liking and commenting on every one of her posts."

Heidi rolled her eyes, "She's allowed to have guy friends Marc."

"Charli seems to be pretty chummy with him."
