Like usual Platform 9 3/4 was filled with families sending their kids off to the magical school of hogwarts for either another year, the first time or last time.
I sighed closing my book as I found being talked to by a very excited Pansy Parkinson. I found it rude that I was reading while she was talking so I stood up to put my book away to avoid any further temptations.
Though half way through her story about her summer activities she stopped looking out the compartment door behind me. I only realized why when it opened and Blaise's voice filled the compartment making me tear my eyes away from the trees moving outside and turned around.
"Whats this? Iris Fay doesn't have her nose stuffed into a book?" He said acting suprised making me roll my eyes out of amusement.
"For your information Blaise, I do have an life outside of reading" I replied with a sarcastic smile which made Blaise let out a loud laugh.
I was slightly offended by the reaction I reserved from the male but still I didn't let it get to me as he never intends to offend me. He only simply teases me like the brother I never had.
"what do you find so amusing Blaise?" Spat a certain blonde who looked over to meet my eyes as I glared at him through the window of my compartment.
I stood up for a second grabbing my bag to take my water bottle out "Malfoy" I spat with a disgusted tone in my voice as he raised an eyebrow looking me up and down before licking his lips and placing a sly smirk onto his face "Fay" he spat back making me roll my eyes as I sat back down into my seat.
I didn't know what every girl in Slytherin saw in him, he was nothing more than a bully who was obsessed with trying to make his father proud of him.
I've met his father once and it wasn't pleasant.
Nothing else was said between the two of us as Blaise said his goodbyes and left the compartment.
I noticed then that Ruby, Ivy and Pansy were all staring at me in disbelief. I eyed the three of them suspiciously as if asking why they were looking at me like that.
"Am I missing something?" I questioned lifting my feet onto the seat and resting them onto Pansy's lap.
They all shook their heads and went back to talking about their summer while I stayed silent knowing I didn't do anything interesting this summer well not to them at least.
So I stared blankly out the window once more for a while till I felt overwhelmed by the company of my friends and excused myself before grabbing my book and walking out of the compartment.
I figured I would head to find an empty compartment or something so I could be alone but of course thats not easy on the hogwarts express as the compartment door I walked past opened right as the train suddenly stopped causing me to loose balance and fall onto who every was walking out of the compartment.
Their arms wrapped tightly around my waist before loosening when we hit the seat I looked back to apologize when suddenly my eyes met a pair of silver ones and I got up looking curiously out the window before realizing he was alone.
"Wheres dumb and dumber?" I asked cooly raising an eyebrow at the blonde who was usually accompanied by Crabbe and Goyle, one would think they're his personal body guards if they didn't know better.
He didn't answer so I sat down knowing this might be the only compartment I'll get any reading in even if Draco Malfoy inhabited it.
Though I didn't get far into my reading when he cleared his throat "oh I'm sorry am I reading to loud?" I asked sarcastically and pouting.
He didn't say anything at my comment, ignored it actually but whatever it was he was about to say was interrupted when the glass froze over.
I shrugged not really bothered to say anything about it and continued to attempt to read my book. Through I could still feel his eyes on me, taunting me when I closed my book and look at him intensely.
"Would you stop fucking staring at me you fucking weirdo" I hissed as the lights turned back on. He looked shocked at me, jumped slightly at my harsh tone as I stood up smacking him across the head with my book.
"What the fuck?!" He shouted his voice filled with annoyance as he rubbed the spot on his head I had just hit "My father will hear about that!"
He exclaimed making me laugh at the blonde."Really Malfoy? I'm sure he's heard enough about me by now and I'm not scared of your father" I remarked leaning down to make my eyes level with his and I could see the anger boiling in his eyes as I gave him yet another sarcastic smile patting his cheek.
"If your father hears anymore about me he'll probably think you have a crush on me; Malfoy" I said as he pushed me back standing up and looking down at me.
"Don't flatter yourself Fay" he said as he grabbed the necklace around my neck "No one would want to date a pathetic excuse for a pureblood such as yourself" he spat as I smacked his hand away glaring at him.
"Me? Pathetic? How so? Is it because I don't bully Harry and His friends?" I shot back giving him a sarcastic smile as he fell silent making me chuckle and pushing him away.
"What I thought" I said as I opened the compartment door and walked out hitting Crabbe and Goyle on the way out throwing them off guard as I heard them asking themselves what happened.
I opened the door to the compartment that my friends were in opening it as they looked up at me concerned "um.. Iris are you oka-" "I don't know what you three see in that blonde bimbo" I spat before sitting back down opening my book and ignoring the three as they attempted to ask me what had occurred minutes ago.
