Her Eyes || Draco Malfoy

My hair was curled and done nicely, glasses were off and my makeup was done way fancier than usual.

When I was looking at myself in the mirror after Destiny did my makeup I could barely even recognize myself.

Seeing me done up this nicely was definitely a rare sight.

I stood around the corner of the top of the staircase where I told Draco I would meet him, to say I was nervous would have been an understatement.

I played with Draco's ring which still sat on my thumb before patting down any wrinkles in the skirt of my dress before finally plucking up the courage to finall turn that corner and face the blonde and my friends.

His back was facing me at first till I heard a faint 'Woah' coming from Blaise who he was facing and most likely having a conversation with.

He turned slowly, smiling as I got closer to him and he realized it was me.

My eyes latches onto his and my heart started racing even more making me wonder if he could hear my heartbeating as I got closer to him.

He finally spoke, as I reached the finally few steps that separated us.

"You look... stunning"

My cheeks ran red as I smiled muttering a quiet 'thanks' as I hooked my arm with his.

He looked extremely handsome in his fancy tux with his hair slicked back making me wonder how I had gotten lucky enough to get to go with him.

I wanted it tell him that he looned handsome but I was just so nervous I could barely even put out a sentence.

The jealous glares of some of the Slytherin girls didn't help my case either especially with the way Draco just couldn't take his eyes off me.

Once we were let into the great hall and waiting for the champions to enter the great hall I finally said something after leaning up to his ear.

"You look really handsome"

I saw him smile as I placed a kiss on his cheek just as the doors opened revealing the champions and their dates as they walked in and meeting in the middle of the room for the first dance.

Slowly people joined in with and I prayed Draco wouldn't pull me in but then he did placing his hand on my waist and intertwining our fingers when my arm across his shoulder.

I could see Ruby giving me a thumbs up from the corner of my eye as Draco and I slowly started moving across the dance floor eventually getting the hang of it.

We were enjoying ourselves as he spun me around with a big smile on both of our faces as we both seemingly just tuned out everyone and everything around us.

It was nearing the end of the dance and only a few couples remained in the great hall still dancing, Draco and I beimg one of those couples.

A slow song is what was playing as I rested my arms behind his neck letting him sway me back and forth to the music enjoying the other person's existence.

I smiled up at him when he leaned down closing the gap between us as my hands moved resting on his chest.

His lips moved slowly against mine, it was almost like he bad been waiting all night to do this when he smiled against my lips before pulling away slowly.

I bit back my smile as I opened my eyes letting them lock instantly onto his.

Running his thumb across my cheek I finally broke into a smile, I've had to have kissed him dozens of times but there was still something that made it feel like I was kissing him for the first time.

I was ready, I had been for a while but I didn't know how to tell him, how to ask him because how do you ask someone to be their girlfriend.

He is my first love; I shared my first kiss with him.

And without thinking I said it.

"can we make this official"

He smiled and leaned back in pressing his lips onto mine for a second before pressing his forehead against mine "you want to be my girlfriend? Is that what you're saying?" He asked, knowing the answer already though I think he just wanted to hear me say it.

"Yes, I do" I smiled as he did the same, his eyes lighting up as he looked at me while he brought his hand up to my cheek pushing my hair behind my ear gently.

"I have been waiting to ask this since last year when we started this" he started making me giggle when he brought his hands down to my waist once again and my arms back around his neck.

"But will you be my girlfriend Officially"

I smiled resting my hands on the back of his neck to pull him down as I answered "yes, I will" then his lips fell onto mine.
