"Hey Iris!"

I turned around quickly at the source of the voice and stopped walking letting them through their arm around my neck and pull me in "Hey Harry" I smiled.

I hadn't gotten the chance to hang out with the brunette since we started talking again, its kind of hard considering Draco— who I spend most my time with —hates Harry more than muggleborns, which says alot.

So getting to hang out with him was nice.

"I heard Malfoy knocked out McLaggen" the brunette said nervously and I nodded letting a light sigh leave my lips before explaining what had happened in the library after Umbridge questioned me.

Harry was shocked to say the least, more shocked that Draco actually has a heart because he knows how Cormac gets.

We ended up in an empty corridor, sitting a comfortable distance from eachother as we talked about o.w.ls.

"You'd think with Voldemort back they'd cancel the damn thing" was what Harry had to say about the exams, he wasn't wrong though.

I was one of the few people who actually believed the brunette about the dark lord's return, I mean why would Harry lie about his parents murderer being back.

Especially when that was Lord Voldemort himself.

I had to keep my cold front though, unable to show open support for the brunette considering that I would get shunned by my house and I didn't need that.

Draco knew I believed the boy, he didn't care much that I was friends with Harry again but he made it clear that I cannot openly show support for him because if I do, the dark lord will punish us both or use me in the future.

Because Draco had faced him over the summer having gotten to meet him due to him holding his meetings in his home.

So while Draco attended detention for beating Cormac up I hung out with Harry, of course telling the blonde of it so he didn't find out through anyone else and because communication equals trust.

Especially when it comes to hanging out with my other guy friends he needs to trust me and he does, he knows I'd never cheat on him.

"I can't deal with Umbridge and her damn determination to bring order to the school" I grumbled letting my head hit the wall behind me harshly, not like I had any braincells to loose Umbridge already took them from me.

"I haven't learned anything in defense against the dark arts other than how much I hate the color pink" I ranted as I lifted my head back to look ahead at the brunette "I mean no one and I mean no one should wear that much pink it has to be illegal somewhere"

A short silence filled the air before being filled with loud laughter coming from the brunette and I.

I missed this, being able to hang out with Harry who was one of my first friends and my best friend for a while, then 2nd year came around and he pushed me away.

Harry always had poor timing for things, that was always a fact and now was definitely not the time for him to be asking me to join something called Dumbledore's Army.

"Um.. what?"

"Dumbledore's Army, its not actually an army its more or less just Defense classes, you know teaching the class umbridge won't? Preparing us for if Voldemort attacks... Are you up for it? You don't have to join obviously I mean you'd be a great addition you're one of the best witches at the school" he explained and I just looked at him, blinking a couple times as I hesitated to answer.

"Uh... let me think about it" I mumbled awkwardly after being thrown off guard, I wanted to join obviously but I didn't know if it was such a good idea.

"of course, just if you want to theres a meeting in a couple days just let me know and I'll tell you where to meet me" he smiled and I nodded.
