"Iris Fay daughter of convicted death eater Dryden Fay" Mad eye started after keeping me in class with Neville for some tea due to traumatizing both of us by using the unforgivable curses infront of us.

I didn't dare to look at him when he spoke to me or vise versa instead stared at my desk intensely feeling both his and Neville's eyes locked on me "you arrested him; my father" I said blankly towards the table which probably muffled the way my voice cracked part way through the sentence.

"and you were there, after my mother died you brought me to my aunts"

There was no response, only a long painful silence that followed my words. I glanced over to Neville who I had never seen look so unalive before.

I couldn't imagine how I looked right now.

I glanced at the black board tbat still had the writing on it from class, the unforgivable curses names were still writen on the board as if they were mocking me.

I had seen all three of the unforgivables be used 7 years ago on my birthday against my will.

So to have to see them be used again today in the setting of a classroom just made it feel like that night was happening all over again.

I tore my eyes away from the board to look out the window at the sun, wondering where my friends would he waiting for me if they even were.

I wasn't even aware of the face that the blonde was waiting for me at the bottom of the spiral staircase I was pulled from by Moody.

He made us tea that I didn't even drink, instead I just sat there staring outsife on the verge of crying.

"I wish to leave" I blurted turning back to the Professor who just nodded gesturing towards the door as he replied "feel free"

I didn't hesitate grabbing my bag and leaving, flying down the stairs and spotting Draco throwing myself into his arms once I reached the bottom of the staircase.

Draco didn't say anything as he wrapped his arms around my waist lifting me off my feet for a moment which almost knocked him over as he leaned his back against the wall behind him.

My face buried into the crook of his neck and I could hear his heartbeat as he rubbed my back which calmed me down almost instantly.

His fingers found their way to my hair playing with it as I wrapped my arms around his torso tightly, he didn't have to say anything for me to know he was there.

It was the small gestures that mattered to me.

I felt special knowing I was the only person who got to see this side of him, the side that show'd he was actually a human being with feelings.

He made me look at him, holding my face with his hands when my eyes met his.

"I won't let anyone harm you"

His words floated through my mind every second since he said them. His thumbs rubbed circles on my cheeks making me smile at him.

"you okay now?" He asked softly his eyes carefully moved around my face before sighing when I nodded letting him know I was fine now.

He dropped his hands from my cheeks down to my sides letting one of his hands slide into mine as we left to go to the great hall where the goblet of fire was.

We found our friends in the corner of the room. We sat down, Draco pulling me onto his lap before I could sit down next to him.

I chuckled scooting back onto his left leg more, allowing my back to rest against his chest as his hands fell onto my lap.

Harry glared at us from across the hall as Ron tried his best to talk to him as he waved his hand infront of his face but he didn't budge which made me uncomfortable when an idea came to my mind.

I turned back to Draco, swinging my leg over his so I could face him properly before grabbing his face making him look at me and cutting off whatever he was saying to Crabbe and Goyle when his words became nothing more than mumbles against my lips.

I felt him smile against my lips when our friends started teasing us, ooo-ing and cheering the blonde on.

Something I had grown used to as much as I hated to admit it.

When I pulled away I kept my hands on his cheeks and a smirk formed on his lips "yeah?" He chuckled tilting his head as a proud smile fell on my lips when I glanced back seeing the horrific expression on Harry's face making me laugh and face the blonde again when I saw him getting a highfive from one of the dumbstrang guys.

His hand landed onto my leg the cold ring that was on his finger hit my skin as he gave my leg a gentle squeeze keeping his eyes on mine for a moment before turning back to Crabbe and Goyle carrying on the conversation he was having with them before I interrupted.

I had jumped off of Draco's lap after kissing his cheek and dismissing myself to use the restroom.

I was about halfway down the corridor when I was pulled to the side aggressively by my wrist causing me to hiss loudly in pain.

My eyes met the green ones that belonged to Harry and instantly I narrowed my eyes pulling my arm from his grip.

"I thought I told you to stay away from me Potter" I shot stepping back from the brunette before letting my lips curl up into a small smirk "I don't think Draco would like that you're still bugging me" I snickered raising an eyebrow at the boy.

Slowly his eyes filled with irritation as my words slowly set in "What the fuck was that?!" He shouted referring to what happened in the great hall and I tilted my head pretending to be confused.

"What was what?" I asked, knowing the answer already as he scrunched his nose up glaring at me "you know what I'm talking about Iris" he scoffed as I let a single laugh leave my lips.

He hesitated, looking both confused and angry with me as I let my head fall to the side "so you're watching me now? Whats with the sudden obsession with me?" I asked harshly stepping back again and scrunching my nose up in disgust as I looked at him.

He seemed take-a-back by my sudden aggression when he suddenly dropped his expression and he turned red in the face though I couldn't tell if it was out of anger or embarrassment.

I pushed him to the side walking into the girls Laboratory but stopping in the doorway to look back at him "you're the one who pushed me away in 2nd year not vise versa" I said cooly before entering the bathroom.

He was gone when I left the bathroom instead Draco was leaned against the wall across from me eyebrow raised with a smirk on his face and his arms crossed as he looked at me.

"Waiting for me?" I teased as I approached the blonde slowly seeing as he pushed himself off the wall and grabbing my arms turning around and pressing ny against the wall gently.

"I saw Harry following you out here" he started before moving his hands down to my waist pushing me into the wall even more "when I came out here to check on you Harry was cursing to himself" I rested my hands onto his chest playing with the pin on his tie.

I smiled up at him, my head resting against the wall as I pulled on his tie pulling him a tiny bit closer to me "or did you finally realize how annoying Crabbe and Goyle were?" I tilted my head chuckling when he rolled his eyes silently agreeing with me.

My eyes were locked onto his silver onces as he winked jokingly making my cheeks turn bright pink before he leaned in to kiss my cheek softly.

The snake pin attached to Draco's tie spun between my fingers as I played with it still smiling up at the blonde as he reached up cupping my cheek before kissing the top of my head.

"We should head back in before our friends think something happened to us"
