Draco and his mother apparently having the manor to himself for a few days for an unknown reason offered the manor for the new years party which gladly was accepted by Ruby.

So we stayed at the manor, we were all hanging out in Draco's room, talking about whatever.

I laid on my back, hanging my head over the side of the bed upside down while Draco sat across the room from me at his piano talking to Theo and Blaise.

"Ferret" I called, though he didn't like the new nickname I gave him he never told me to stop, never got mad at me for it bur if any of our friends called him it he'd yell at them.

So I found myself to be special.

He quickly looked over to me, stopping whatever conversation he was having with them bringing his attention to me.

he hummed tilting his head as I gave him a smile rolling onto my stomach and sitting on my knees making him sigh as he got up walking over to me and stopping at the bed.

"What do you want love?" He asked seriously bringing his hand to my cheek, trying to keep a straight face.

I mocked him, putting a straight face on and copying the same face he was making which made Blaise and Theo laugh as Draco rolled his eyes.

"You're so annoying"

"You're the one dating me"

I loud gasp could be heard from behind me followed by a loud bang "What?!" Ruby yelled from behind me as Draco facepalmed making me laugh letting my back hit the bed.

"Since when?!" Ruby asked as I rolled onto my stomach to look at her "since Christmas" I answered cheerfully as Draco grabbed my waist and pulled me back up forcing me to sit on my knees as he wrapped his arm around my neck, leaning into my ear.

"Do not lay like that with a skirt on" he hissed quietly into my ear making the smile on my face turn into a knowing smirk making the four girls infront of me start laughing.

"Someone's protective" I mumbled causing Draco to pull me back closer to his chest protectively "I'm serious Iris" he hissed making me chuckle.

I leaned my head back against him, flicking my eyebrows up at Ruby, Destiny, Ivy and Pansy as they watched in amusement meanwhile Blaise and Theo were chuckling and whispering behind us.

"You were standing behind me I don't see the issue" I complained when he suddenly moved away grabbing my arm aggressively making me yelp at the sudden movement as he pulled me out of the room.

I ignored our friends teases as the door closed behind us muffling their voices as we walked down the hallway into another one before he pulled me into a random room pushing me against the door.

"Not. While. Blaise. And. Theo. Are. Around. Iris." He hissed, his hot breath hitting my lips as he breathed heavily with his face only inches from my own.

"Just because you're my boyfriend now doesn't mean you ca—" he cut me off before I could finish "I know that Iris—" he hissed loosening his grip on my arms after realizing he was squeezing them a little to hard before continuing

"but I can't help it when they both have a crush on you— you're mine— you're my girlfriend" he scoffed and I tilted my head at the response.

"You're insecure aren't you?" I asked softly, genuine concern filling my voice and his features softened, leaning back sighing "I am not insecure, Iris" he grumbled but I could tell he couldn't even convince himself of that.

I didn't have to say anything, my eyes probably able to ask all the questions I was thinking by the way I was looking at him.

"Don't look at me like that"

"Why are you insecure" I asked, softening my expression directly after his statement.

He opened his mouth to argue but then closed it, sighing and dropping his hands to my sides "I'm not— I'm not insecure" he hesitated when I brought my hand to his cheek.

I turned his head so he could look at me properly, a long silence filled the room as neither of us knew what to say next.

I ran my fingers through his hair watching as it fell messily across his forehead, poking up in random directions.

He hooked his arm around my waist before suddenly reached for the door handle and opening the door to a loud thud causing me to turn around and see Theo holding his nose.

"I told you I'm not insecure, just protective because of this pervert"
