Her Eyes || Draco Malfoy

Ruby wouldn't stop teasing me about the interaction she witnessed a few days prior, especially during potions.

my right hand gripped firmly around the wooden spoon while my left one looked down at the book to read the ingredients for the wit-sharpening potion professor snape ordered us to brew.

His ring was still on my thumb and suprisingly Ruby didn't notice it till now when she suddenly took my hand looking at it and shooting her eyes at Draco who was at the table beside ours.

"He gave you his ring?!" She exclaimed quietly with a smile on her face as she tried her best to keep from distributing the class but clearly did a bad job when I looked over and saw the blonde smiling at me, shaking his head.

I hesitated, feeling my cheeks heat up and I removed my hand from hers which answered her question as I went back to working on the potion.

She squeled, earning a smack on the back of the head from snape as he walked by making me snort as Ruby frowned rubbing the back of her head calling him an old git as he walked away.

Once far away so he couldn't hear her, Ruby leaned over to me when she noticed the staring contest I was having with a certain blonde a table over "so like when are you two going on another date?" She asked suddenly which startled me causing me to elbow her but still somehow manage to keep myself from blinking.

Eventually Draco blinked when Theo said something from the spot beside him causing him to do the same thing I did, elbowing him harshly in the stomach breaking our eye contact.

I gave him an accomplished smile before turning to look at Ruby "I guess potions isn't the only thing I'm better than Draco at" I bragged loud enough for the blonde to hear as I glanced at him seeing him rolling his eyes at me when I shot a wink at him.

"yeah but both of you suck at just making it fucking official" Ivy hissed as I rolled my eyes looking at her with an sarcastic smile narrowing my eyes at her.

I didn't want to say anything, instead I turned back to check on my potion and calling over professor Snape who gave me the okay.

I sighed as I sat down, placing head in my hands as I watched Draco attempting to brew his potion smiling everytime he failed.

He was struggling, I found it funny how I did it first go and its taken him a couple goes, I assume from lack of focus and care to get it done.

I noticed Goyle look back after Theo pointed at me and seconds later Goyle pointed at me and Dracos eyes landed on me as I hid my face.

I guess they weren't the only ones who noticed me staring when Ruby spoke up, laughing quietly "Just go see him, it won't bug us" she insisted and I didn't give it a second thought before getting up, taking my bag with me as I walked to the blonde's table.

His smirk grew even more the closer I got till I haulted directly infront of him "noticed you admiring me just now" he teased as my smile that was once on my face fell and I raised an eyebrow.

"Shut up or I'm going back to my table" I warned pointing my finger at the table where Ruby sat smiling at us as he pretended to be offended before smiling and pulling me infront him more.

Resting his head on my shoulder he went back to brewing the potion as I watched him do so "you know for someone who claims to be better than me in Potions, you seem to be struggling, whys that?" I teased as he dropped the spoon looking at me with an eyebrow raised.

I smiled innocently at him as the bell rang signaling the end of our classes and I jumped up to sit down on the counter.

"Your girlfriend really called you out just now, Malfoy" Crabbe joked as I looked over giving him a highfive while denying the fact I was his girlfriend before looking back over seeing that Draco was looking at the two of us like we just told him he was adopted.

"I hate both of you" he said pointing at both of us as he grabbed his bag. I put on a fake pout looking at Draco after silently telling the boys to watch this.

He stood up straight then looked at me, his face changing to an apologetic expression in the matter of seconds making him forget his friends were there when his soft side came out.

He sighed, apologizing and reassuring me telling me he didn't hate me when a small smile fell on my lips before jumping down and facing the boys at the table "and that is how you get Draco's soft side to come out" I said as I slid my hand into Draco's pulling him away as he cursed at me jokingly for embarrassing him infront of his friends.

Though he knew I did it out of love.

He pulled me through the busy corridors, searching for an empty one so we could just be alone for a bit.

After eventually finding one he pulled me to sit down as I took my robe off throwing it onto my legs.

"fucking hate skirts" I hissed as I looked at the blonde who very clearly disagreed with my statement as he spoke playing with my fingers "I happen to like them, especially on you" he flirted, his fingers tracing the vains on the back of my hand carefully.

I scooted closer to him, stretching my legs out and resting my head against the wall behind me as I let a low sigh leave my lips as I looked at him "I got that, judging by how much you stare at me during classes" I teased

He rolled his eyes jokingly at my statement as I rested my head on his shoulder smiling softly "thats bold coming from you seeing how you were admiring me in class today and don't deny it Fay" he shot back as he moved the robe off my legs for a moment so he could place his hand on my leg.

"I was admiring you're failed attempts to be better than me in Potions" I boasted as I shifted to look at him, a proud smile now on my face as he looked down at me.

I giggled, slipping my hand into his as it sat in my lap still before leaning my head up to look at him feeling my heart start racing when he squeezed my hand.

I wanted to say it so badly, tell him how I felt about him but everytime I went to, before the words could leave my lips I felt them get choked up inside me.

I was scared to tell him I love him because I didn't know if he felt the same way and I was scared to be rejected in that way.
