Its been nonstop studying, I needed to get good marks this year after last year I was in the top 3 students in my classes.

First in potions, I didn't have to worry to much about that class as much as others but still I couldn't help but find my nose stuck in a book studying potions.

My constant studying meant I wasn't with my friends as often as I could like, constantly in the library, reading while at meals and ignoring the requests to hang out on weekends.

So when the first Hogsmeade trip was coming up I planned on staying but of course Draco wouldn't let me stay, telling me he missed having me around and he was worried that I was overdoing it.

I couldn't say no to him, he was worried about me and so I gave in to him.

So here we were in the common room waiting to leave when Draco brought up Umbridge and her crazy rules in attempt to start a conversation with me.

So I closed my book suddenly and shot my gaze over to him.

"shes gone absolutely insane! I mean she's taking the school over and shes been in every class of mine checking the teachers out and writing them down! Then she tries to banish Trelawney" I exclaimed as I face planted into the blonde's chest with more force than I intended.

Draco placed his hand on my lower back and sighed "shes a nut case— Trelawney she should have been sacked years ago" Draco complained as I sat up shooting the blonde a glare

"shes a great teacher and you know it"

"You don't like her either!"

"That doesn't mean she deserves to be sacked!"

I huffed and kept my eyes narrowed at him when the common room fell silent around us and Draco looked almost shocked at my tone.

He became flustered and closed his mouth as I looked around "stop staring- carry on with your lives" I hissed making everyone go back to what they were doing.

"you seem on edge do you want to go to that tea shop when we get to hogsmeade?" He asked placing his hand onto my cheek clearly worried when I nodded "yeah, I'd like that"

He gave a subtle smile and leaned in to place a small kiss upon my lips making me smile for a moment.

His hand reached over the table and pushed my hair back behind my ear before letting it land onto my hand that rested infront of me.

He tilted his head and his eyes twinkled with worry at my silence because he didn't know I hadn't slept at all last night.

I dug my teeth into my bottom lip to keep myself from yawning and worrying him further.

"You're being quieter than usual" I shot my eyes down to his hand as it wrapped around mine before looking back at him and taking a sip from the cocoa I had ordered.

I didn't know much of what to say, instead I smiled tiredly and took a deep breath "Iris, are you mad at me?" He asked and I shook my head immediately holding my breath in for a moment.

"No why would I be mad at you?" I shook my head, narrowing my eyes slightly when he let a breath of a relief escape his lips "I'm just tired"

He seemed upset by my confession, not mad though because he knew he couldn't be mad at me, I'm an overachiever, I spend unhealthy amount of times on preparing for exams.

"I didn't get much sleep last night or any actually, I'm fine though I swear" I took another sip from my drink before giving him a promising smile.

He didn't seem convinced, his eyes wandered my face sadly and he sighed standing up as he paid for our drinks and pulled me out of the tea shop.

"Wha- where are we going?!" I yelped as he turned back to look at me "we're going back to the castle and you're going to take a nap" he said nonchalantly, not giving me a choice.

He made sure not to pull on my arm and ignore my telling him I was fine, I didn't need a nap and I wasn't a toddler.

He didn't let me argue as he pulled me through the corridors leading to the dungeons.

I groaned as he pulled me into the common room and dragged me to his dorm room laying down on his bed and pulling me with him so I landed ontop of him.

"I don't need a nap Draco" I knew arguing with him wouldn't do anything I'm sure I wasn't very convincing especially when I yawned after telling him I didn't need a nap.

He perked his brows up and held an unconvinced look on his face "Bullshit, you're literally struggling to keep your eyes open" he chuckled making me smile and lean in slightly.

"You know I shouldn't be in here— it's against the rules" I whispered before pecking his lips and letting a small giggle leave my lips.

he tiled his head with a smirk playing his lips "You've never been one about following the rules" he said as he pulled the blanket over us and I snuggled into the crook of his neck.

"You're right" I whispered with a smile on my face and I fluttered my eyes shut soon falling asleep.
