Her Eyes || Draco Malfoy

I did end up staying with him till term started, I got my stuff from my aunt when we arrived at kings cross but she didn't really seem happy about Draco and I seeing eachother still.

This frustrated not just me but Draco for obvious reasons, I didn't know why she didn't like the Malfoy's, Lucius I understood but Narcissa was really nice from what I saw and Draco is well shes never met him.

We got on the train and found an empty compartment. I sat down next to Draco resting my back against his while letting my head fall back allowing him to kiss my cheek softly making me giggle as I leaned in to kiss him.

"Aww cute" Destiny coo'd as she opened the compartment door causing me to break away from the kiss and look over.

I felt my cheeks turn red before looking back at Draco who snaked his arm around my waist letting me rest my head on his chest "I heard what happened at the quidditch world cup, are you okay?" She asked as she sat down across of us his eyes flickering between Draco and I.

"We're fine, Iris just got scratched up a little bit" Draco said pulling me closed when Destiny glanced over at the door causing me to do the same.

Ruby opened the compartment door with Ivy. They both looked at Draco snd I then back at eachother before walking in and sliding the door behind them shut.

"please tell me you two are finally official" Ruby said excitedly and I looked up at Draco who silently shook his head when I spoke up "not yet" I hummed as I moved to get into a more comfortable position.

I watched as Ruby gave Ivy 5 galleons making me chuckle shaking my head as I sat down on the other side of Draco with my legs on hid lap, my back pressed against the wall next to the window and my arms around his shoulders while he had his arms around my waist.

Ruby and Ivy both gave us 'really' looks as they saw the interaction "you two are basically dating at this point" Ivy chuckled as I rolled my eyes letting Draco rest his head lazily onto my chest.

I ran my fingers through his hair when Pansy walked in awing loudly as she walked in "okay thats actually really cute" she gushed pointing at Draco's current position before sitting down next to Ruby as I looked over to see what he was doing, seeing that he had a smile on his face as he looked at me.

I smiled shaking my head slightly as I kissed the top of his head softly keeping my face buried into his hair "you big teddy bear" I mumbled loud enough so only he could here me as he cuddled more making me smile as the train started moving.

Their voices filled the small compartment as we started our journey to Hogwarts for yet another year.

Ivy's eyes stayed locked on Draco and I for a few more seconds before looking forward at Pansy who looked both upset and happy as she looked at us.

Her eyes were dull as I nudged Draco slightly, feeling bad because I knew she still had feelings for the blonde and I knew it probably hurt her to see him with me sometimes.

Destiny did always tell me I cared more about others feelings more than my own.

Draco moved up giving me a worried look at my sudden change of heart with his sudden clinginess towards me.

I looked away removing my arms from around his shoulders hesitantly before moving my legs off him and standing up excusing myself from the compartment.

Walking through the train car I ran into Harry who didn't seem happy to see me as he stopped me in place.

"Malfoy? Really Iris? Out of everyone you could have gone for you choose to date him?" He hissed quietly making me flinch, looking down at my feet.

"We're not dating Potter" I told him as I looked up at him with a cold look but he didn't seem convinced with my words as he furrowed his brows, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Don't lie Iris I saw you two at the world cup" his eyes slowly filled with rage as he spoke and I felt my anxiety spike as I closed my eyes stepping back when I felt an arm wrap around my neck loosely.

I didn't have to open my eyes to know who it was when the smell of green apples surrounded me as he pulled me closer to his chest "Stay away from her Malfoy" Harry warned as I opened my eyes glaring at him as I looked up at him.

I shrugged Dracos arm off me "stay away from me Harry" I threatened seeing his face drop as he looked at me sadly "Iris—" he trailed off as his eyes trailed down to my hand as I grabbed Draco's hand; intertwining our fingers.

"Goodbye Harry" I said cooly before pushing past him dragging Draco behind me as we walked into an empty train car and sitting down in an empty booth with Draco as he sat infront of me.

I rested my head in my hand as I looked out the window silently watching as the trees flew past us.

I felt Draco's hand grab onto my own as I quietly sighed wrapping my hand around his gently "its been 7 years today" I mumbled quietly under my breath as I brought my eyes to the blonde infront of me.

"and the man who killed my mother is still out there" I dropped my other hand onto my arm as he let go of my hand and began playing with my fingers "I saw him, he looked directly at me while he tortured her and he made me watch as he killed her"

I wasn't really paying attention to much as I kept my eyes on him while his were on our hands as I spoke "the worst part about it is my aunt knows who did it" I said as a tear fell down my cheek causing his eyes to meet mine quickly as he moved to my side of the both pulling me into his arms.

I sobbed silently into his chest as he rubbed my back kissing the top of my head "I just— I just miss her so much" I sniffled as his hand slid up my back to my hair running his fingers through my hair as I calmed down slightly.

I moved back to look at him as he pressed his forehead against mine causing me to close my eyes when he moved back kissing my forehead softly.

He held my face in his hands gently; rubbing circles on my cheeks with his thumbs as I opened my eyes looking straight into his silver eyes as they leveled with mine.

"I won't let anyone harm you" he promised me keeping his eyes locked onto mine as he removed one hand from my cheek bringing it down to my hand holding onto my pinky with his.

He pulled my face closer to his as he moved his hand back behind so he could wipe the tears from under my eye away "I promise" he whispered making me smile.

I leaned in pressing my lips onto his softly letting our lips moved against eachother in sync while I smiled against his lips and for the first time in 7 years I smiled on my birthday.

I pulled back from the kiss, smiling softly as I looked at him and his thumb ran across my cheek gently like I would break if he was to harsh.
