"Prove it"

I woke up with his chest against my bare back, the area between my legs sore and the feeling of comfort blooming in my chest as I smiled squeezing his hand lightly.

It felt like I was dreaming, I know we had only been apart for only a month but it felt longer, like a year or something.

His grip around me tightened as he pulled me closer against him making me giggle as I turned around to look at him fully seeing that his eyes weren't open.

Cuddling closer against him I felt him huff against my hair "good morning my love" he mumbled, his voice muffled as he spoke but unable to hide the raspiness in his voice.

I didn't need him to wish me a happy birthday and he knew that, he would always know that.

I moved back when I felt him do the same, he trailed his hand up my body and stopped at the center of my back "I missed this, waking up next to you" he said softly making me smile as he began rubbing circles on my side.

"are you happy?" he asked suddenly, throwing me off as I nodded in response "with you I am" I answered making him smile "with you I truly am" he moved his hand up to pushny hair out of my face before placing it back where it laid.

he kissed my forehead "did you know Ivy and Theo were dating?" I asked, seeing as the blonde nodded his head "Theo told me like the night they started dating or something because he was smiling like a fucking dumbass" he explained and I took this opportunity to tease him.

"just like how you were all smiley and shit after we started dating?" I asked, watching as his face turned red and he hesitated to answer "yes. . . yes exactly like that" he chuckled leaving me with a smile on my face when he continued.

"She deserves it though dont you think? Theo truly loves her, he always has it just—" I cut him off "took him a while to realize it" I said softly, knowing that Harry had said something very similar about me only a few months ago.

"You know someone had said something like that about me not long ago, not their exact words but—" I paused to remember them, smiling when I did despite the sad story behind it "I saw the way you looked at him them and its is still the same today"

He smiled, dipping his head down to kiss me, my eyes closing immediately as he moved his hand to my cheek making sure to be as gentle as possible with me.

I smiled against his lips before leaning in closer to deepen the kiss, the only time I felt like everything was okay on this day was when I was with him.

and when he pulled away the smile that found my liks never faded, infact it grew as I opened my eyes to meet his.

"I love you" he told me quietly and everytime since the first time he told me those three words I still felt my heart skip a beat, only he could make me feel this way and only he could make me smile the way I did around him "I love you" I whispered back.

I dont know when his hand moved from my cheek to my arm or when my back found itself against the mattress with him above me but when everything came back to me I just smiled.

"thank you for always being there" I blurted "I mean it, thank you" I watched his eyes soften as he smiled down at me, a smile that was rare for many but common for me.

"We should get dressed" he whispered after he leaned down to my ear "unless you want to go for round two" My cheeks turned red instantly going unnoticed by Draco whos lips were already connected to my neck.

"is that what you want? I can stop if you want" he mumbled but I nodded, signaling him to continue as he pressed soft kisses to my neck, different from before telling me that nothing about this was sexual.

"you're lying, I can tell" he whispered, leaning up to press one small soft kiss against my cheek "whats bugging you my love?" he asked curiosity and worry filling his tone as he looked down at me keeping a distance between us.

"is it because of what today is?" I nodded at his question and he gave me a sad smile before leaning down to leave a quick kiss on my lips telling me this was okay, we didn't need to do anything if I wasn't comfortable.

He fell ontop of me, his chest against mine and his face buried into my neck "I love you" he mumbled before kissing the spot behind my ear and getting off me as I sat up pulling the blanket to my chest.

I smiled, leaning my head back against the headboard.
