Nothing grounds Eren like your touch, he has always reached for you when he was nervous or worried, grasping your hand at the end of training ceremony, racing into your arms as soon as he was let free from shackles and trial.
He's always found he felt most at 'home' in your arms and will make any excuse to be close to you. Switching chores so you're together and he can coincidentally bump his hip against yours going past? check. Swinging your arms while walking together? always. He has even tried riding his horse close enough to yours to hold hands, which never turns out, or at least bumping his leg against yours, which also ends in disaster and usually a little pain.
He always sneaks into your dorms because he swears he "can't sleep without you" but it really just pouty for cuddles, then conks out as soon as he's on the bed, snuggling you close and drooling.
