Shouto doesn't really understand buying all kinds of hero or fandom merch, going so long without much aside from necessities he just doesn't get it "Don't you already have an All Might keychain..?"
but soon just buys anything you might like, spoils you, glanced at a shirt? you now own 3, favorite hero? whatever he sees with [hero] on it
Shouto loves seeing how happy you are when receiving a gift, even though you repeatedly tell him he doesn't have to, because hey, what's better than spoiling your s/o AND using your dumbass dad's money to do it?
He would do anything to make you smile, even if it's just getting a little pencil topper you thought was cute
