Light in honestly rather shocked when you give him something, be it a snack you remember he liked or something that reminded you of him, his eyes grow wide in surprise and he's nearly bashful for a short moment when accepting it.
His gifts honestly are not as personal, trying to be sly and use your same methods on you, first at thinking he should 'repay' your gifts, an armful of snacks he knows you enjoy, something small he's overheard you talking about, but overtime it becomes more natural to him, and he comes to enjoy grabbing you something nearly every time he goes out.
With how focused he is you're always surprised when he gets your something you mentioned months ago, before it was even available, or something he spotted that happened to be just to your tastes. It's seldom he says 'I saw this and thought of you' or anything else, but quietly watches for your satisfaction with the item.
