Chapter 8- Unexpected Request

When Hiroki reached at station ,the first thing he did was to take medicine s. He took them very late today but it is better to be late than never,right?

After taking medicine s he realized something. He forgot to ask about Mikarin! He really thought of himself as dumb. All the hard work he did today was for knowing about Mikarin's whereabouts but he forgot about it at the end of the day!

When he was thinking about going back to the company a message popped up on his phone . It was from Kirihitho.

Message-

' Come back tommorow at the company at 12 .'

Hiroki heaved a sigh.

The next day he reached at firm but was immediately yelled at by Kakeru," Do you think of yourself as the owner of this firm who can take leave whenever he wants,huh? "

" It was an emergency as I told earlier."

" What emergency can you have? You don't have any family neither do you have any friends . What kind of emergency, huh?"

Hiroki was really annoyed by now . He said," An emergency can occur even if you don't have any family or friends. And I am not obligated to tell you why I didn't come yesterday. You are not my employer neither I work under you . You are just my senior . Just be that."

" HOW DARE YOU TALK LIKE THAT WITH ME? Let me remind you that currently you are working under me for Nakamura and Inoue's project!"

" I am not working under you. I am working under Mr. Mikato. Even if you have taken lead it doesn't mean you are the leader."

"YOU-"

"Enough!" A voice came from behind of Kakeru ." Do you have any manners? You are arguing in the office where our clients are present. You both see me in my cabin .NOW!"

" Yes sir."

"Yes Mikato." Kakeru said proudly thinking that Hiroki was going to be punished

Mikato glared at him,"Not Mikato but S-I-R."

"Sorry , sir."

All three of them reached Mikato's office. 

Mikato said calmly," Hiroki this is not a way you should behave or talk with your senior. Kakeru is still more experienced than you are. And Kakeru this is the first time Hiroki has taken a day off after so long. You can't be this rigid when working with younger generation. They will just rebel more. I hope you won't behave like this in future."

"Yes."

"Sorry."

"Anyway s why I called you both here is due to some another reason. I got a call yesterday from Kirihitho Nakamura. He wants Hiroki to lead their case."

Kakeru and Hiroki both were shocked. Kakeru said,"  But why him? He is still very young and has less experience than me! Why did they ask him to lead this case?"

" I told them the same thing but they are still reluctant to change their decision. They are our clients and I don't want to upset them and that's why I have accepted their request."

"WHAT!?"

"WHAT?!"

"I really didn't have any option. Kakeru handle all the details of this case to Hiroki by today. And Hiroki ,Mr. Nakamura wants to meet you today to discuss about this case by 12 ."

"Okay."

"You are free to leave."

When Hiroki came out of Mikato's office he was still stupidified. Why did they request him to lead this case ? He was still inexperienced and this case was really big and important. If he messed up it can cause him his entire career.

Kakeru dropped the case related files on his desk and said, " All the best . Hope you won't destroy this firm's reputation."

Hiroki was really stressed. He really didn't expect this to happen. And with his health deteriorating right now , he won't be able to lead such big case.

He took a glance at the case file and went to Kirihitho's company.

But he didn't expect to see the person who he was trying to find for last 6 years there......
