Chapter 52 - We are doing a Favor on You

Hiroki," Um..... nothing."

Itonome snorted," So, it's nothing. Then shall we leave? Everyone is waiting."

Hiroki was surprised," Eh?!"

Itonome glared at him," What? You don't want to go home? Or want to fight another case?"

But before Hiroki could say anything, Mikasa replied," He is shocked. Even I am. Hypocrites like you started caring for him? That's a miracle."

Itonome's expressions changed," Who are you calling hypocrites? In the first place, who are you?"

Mikasa," You don't need to know who I am. And aren't you hypocrites? First you send Hiroki here with a bus knowing he is sick, but now you are taking him with you so as to show off to the world that we care. Huh! You amaze me."

Itonome was pissed off," Listen here, bi**h. You have no right and I mean it no right to interfere in our lives. So just f**k off."

Mikasa laughed," Ahhh.., truth stings, right? Well, anyways I am not interested in wasting my time with you." She turned to Hiroki," Take care of yourself. I will come for your appointment tomorrow. And don't overdo anything. Bye." She kissed his forehead and left while giving a stinky eye to Itonome. He also glared back at her.

Itonome growled at Hiroki," Who the f**k was she, huh? She insulted our family and you didn't say anything. Do you agree with her?"

Hiroki sighed," She is gone, okay? Let's just go back."

Itonome grabbed his arm and wispered in his ears," Remember this Hiroki. You are not doing a favor on us but we are doing a favor on you by paying for your medical expenses. Because you are not our family anymore. I don't give a damn about what you or that bi**h think about my family." 

He dragged Hiroki towards his family after that. Everyone was chit chatting happily due to Haru being proven not guilty. When they both arrived, all of them noticed the tense atmosphere around them.

Kai cleared his throat and said," So, shall we go somewhere and celebrate? For Haru's innocence and Hiroki's win?"

Hikaru," Yep! We should go! You both will come too, right?"

Kirihitho and Tatsuya nodded. Hikaru smiled brightly by their response. But before they could decide where to go, Hiroki interrupted," I am not going. I will go back."

Hikaru frowned," Are you not feeling good?"

Hiroki nodded.

Hikaru," Then we should go some other time? That w-"

Hiroki," No, you all go. I will return back to mansion."

Hakuto interrupted," Okay. Hiroki you go back with Yukei."

Hiroki nodded and left.

But before he could reach towards his car, he was swarmed by many reporters. He completely forgot about them. They started asking various questions which gave an headache to Hiroki. He was already in nasty mood and by these constant questions it was getting even more nasty. Kirihitho and Tatsuya immediately came for his rescue and dropped him near the car.

Kirihitho asked," You okay?"

Hiroki replied tiredly," Not really. But I will be fine after taking rest."

Tatsuya," Don't exert yourself."

Hiroki smiled in response and left.

Kirihitho and Tatsuya didn't want to go to celebrate after Hiroki left but they have committed so they went reluctantly.

After Hiroki left, Kai asked Itonome," What did you say to Hiroki?"

Itonome looked at him dead in the eye," The things which he needed to know."

Kai glared at him," I hope you didn't say things you shouldn't have."

"Don't worry. I knew very well what I was saying."

Kai snorted in response.

At the Kamazura's Mansion

Hiroki got off the car. He was very tried.

He heard someone saying," Sir, welcome back."

Hiroki heard a familiar voice and looked at that person. He smiled in pure shock and surprise," Mia! You are back!"

Mia also smiled," Yes I am back."

Hiroki walked near her," You said you were going to come back in one week. But you didn't."

Mia didn't say anything and just continued smiling. Hiroki frowned. He looked at her neck. There was a thick bandage.

Hiroki said with concern," I can imagine why you came back so late."

Mia unconsciously touched the bandage and said," Don't worry. This isn't so bad. They just wrapped it thickly."

Hiroki laughed," Okay, I will believe in you. But from now on, don't leave me alone as long as I am staying here."

Mia nodded.

Hiroki went back in his room after talking with Mia for a while. As soon as he reached his room, he went inside the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and started thinking about the words Itonome said to him. He started chuckling and then started laughing like a maniac.

He said to his reflection," You heard him. You are not their family anymore. They just pity you and nothing else. Why aren't you dead yet? Why haven't you killed yourself yet, huh? Everyone will be so happy if you are gone! Please kill yourself. It would be big favor to them and also to me."

He splashed water on his face multiple times. He splashed water on his face for so long that his shirt was wet which almost caused VAD to wet.

He staggered out of his bathroom, changed his clothes and flopped on the bed. He was in that position for long time. He was really tired, exhausted but couldn't sleep at all. He was so drowned in his thoughts that he didn't hear Aunt Min coming in.

Aunt Min smiled at him," Hiro, I heard you won the case. Congratulations! You know, it's on every news channel. That the mysterious child of Kamazura's is not only good looking but also a genius and fierce and strong hearted person. When maids were talking about you with admiration, I got to show off that I serve for you. Hahahahaha .....they were so jealous. I am telling y-"

After a long talk, she realised Hiroki didn't say a word. She looked at him. Hiroki was staring at particularly nothing. His eyes were completely blank as if there was no life in them. 

Aunt Min clapped her hands in front of Hiroki which startled him. He looked at her in shock and asked," Aunt Min, when did you come?"

Min replied as cheerfully as before," Oh! I just came in and saw you sitting like a dummy."

Hiroki," I am sorry. It's just I am not feeling so good. That's why."

Aunt Min stroked his hair and said," Get some rest. I will wake you up for your dinner."

She tucked him in bed and said," Have beautiful and sweet dreams, honey."

Consciously or sub consciously Hiroki replied," Thanks ma."

This startled Aunt Min. She looked at sleeping Hiroki with wide eyes. She sat near Hiroki's bed for some time stroking his hair and couldn't help sighing.

She thought,' What have you went through kiddo?"

She left Hiroki's room and was walking in the corridors when she came across Mia.
