Chapter 79- How Big of an Idiot am I?

Hiroki was standing in front of the Navy office with  defeated expression. He was able to make approval and was able to get them signed by court and water& transport department but couldn't make it in time for the Navy office. He sighed in frustration. He worked his ass off and then also this happened. He was an idiot to trust those three people! Because of his idiotic decision, they lost a very big project.

He returned back to the company. There was still some time for his appointment so he decided to tell Tatsuya and Kirihitho about his big blunder. He first confirmed from Shin whether one of them was free or not and then went to Tatsuya's cabin.

Tatsuya looked at him with demanding expression as if telling him- It better be important. Don't waste my time.

Hiroki sighed and said," We lost the Navy project."

Tatsuya abruptly stopped working and looked at him with disbelief," Hiroki, better say it's a joke. You are joking, right?"

"....No." He bowed his head down and said," I am sorry."

Tatsuya stood up and shouted at him," Sorry?! Are you f**king kidding me?! Is your sorry going to bring back this project?! Hiroki, what the hell were you doing?! This was so important!! How can you mess this up?!"

Hiroki didn't say anything. Rather he didn't know what to say. Seriously, what was he doing? He depended on someone for such an important project! What was he even thinking?!

Tatsuya was pacing back and forth, calling some of his contacts to make something work. But to no avail. In frustration, he threw the things from his desk causing something to hit Hiroki on his fractured shoulder. He shuddered in pain and stepped back a little. Tatsuya shouted," WHAT NOW?! WE LOST THE PROJECT! LEAVE BEFORE I DO SOMETHING TO YOU! JUST LEAVE!"

Hiroki again bowed his head and went back to his office.

Everyone was gone by now so he sat in one of the chairs and held his shoulder. Thankfully, it wasn't broken again. He looked at the green board where their tasks were assigned. He decided to take some major steps after what happened that day. He looked at the time and decided to go to his appointment.

In the parking lot, Itonome and Mia were waiting for him. As soon as they settled, they left for the appointment. At the clinic, Mikasa was waiting for him. She saw him and immediately smiled. She said," I was just going to call you. Let's go! It's almost time."

Hiroki went inside and the duo( Itonome and Mikasa) sat opposite to each other, glaring while Mia waited in the car.

Hiroki sat in front of the psychiatrist uncomfortably. She noticed this and smiled at him softly," Let's start with introduction. I am Yui."

"I am Hiroki."

"Nice name. It's common to hear your name now-a-days. Common and beautiful."

Hiroki hesitated but continued," I want to apologise. Sorry I couldn't make it yesterday. I just completely forgot about this and was stuck in some office work."

"It's completely fine. But from next time, do not forget. This is as important as your office, okay?"

Hiroki nodded.

Their session continued for one hour. When Hiroki walked out, he was smiling mess. Mikasa asked him happily," Was it that good?"

He nodded," Yeah. I feel relaxed."

She smiled at him brightly," That's great!"

Itonome was looking at the smiling duo and couldn't help feeling jealous. This woman seemed more important to Hiroki than him. But he didn't voice it out. 

When they were done, Itonome said," When is your next appointment?"

"It's every two days. So, day after tomorrow."

Itonome nodded," Okay, always take someone from our family with you."

Hiroki smiled at him and they left the clinic.

Back in the mansion, Hiroki was making soup in the kitchen looking at particularly nothing. He was thinking about what happened that day. He should have never trusted them for such an important project. There was extreme guilt building up in him for the company and the employees who worked so hard for this project.Because of his idiotic decision, they lost such a big opportunity. He sighed for nth time.

Ray came in kitchen to eat some snacks when he saw Hiroki looking blank and the soup that he was making, over-flowing from the pot. He said with urgency," Watch out!"

Hiroki got startled and looked at him with wide eyes and then realised the soup was on the gas. In hurry, rather than closing the gas, he tried to pick up the pot. Result, he burnt his hand.

Ray hurriedly closed the gas and shouted at him," What the hell are you thinking? Touching a hot pot?? Are you out of your mind?"

Hiroki, who was holding his hand under the cold stream of water, said," I-I don't know what was I thinking."

Ray searched for first-aid kit in the cabinets, made Hiroki sit on one of the stools and started applying ointment. He frowned at the burnt hand and continued scolding," Seriously, how can you be like this? What if it would have fallen on you? You would have gotten third degree burn! How can you be so clumsy?"

"..."

After applying ointment, he said," If dad found out about this, he will never allow you to enter the kitchen."

"..."

Ray grumbled," Whatever. Next time, don't burn your hand or anything. And if you want to, don't do it in front of me." He left after saying this.

Hiroki looked at his burnt hand and thought,' Second injury! Wooho! Really, how big of an idiot am I? Everything sucks! I have to get it together!! Be optimistic, you idiot Hiroki! You can do it!'
