Chapter 108- Testing the Patience

Itsuki walked in the kitchen, with complete determination, where everyone was sitting. He took a look around and took a deep breath to calm down his adrenaline. He gave Ian to Kai who knew what his husband was going to do. Kai whispered," Don't!"

Itsuki looked him in his eyes and said honestly," If I don't do this now, I will regret it for the rest of my life."

Hiroki came running in the kitchen, huffing and puffing. Itsuki and him stared at each other as if talking with their eyes but Itsuki shook his head and looked at smiling Mirai who was talking with Sara as if nothing happened. This triggered Itsuki on the whole another level. For the first time in his life, he was angry at Mirai. And point to be noted was that, he had already seen her hypocritical and narcissistic behaviour a lot.

Kai yanked Hiroki to a side and whisper shouted at him," What the hell did you say to him?"

Hiroki shook his head," I didn't say anything or maybe I did. I-I-I don't know."

Itsuki said as calmly as possible," Mom, we need to talk."

Mirai's smile immediately disappeared after seeing Itsuki's face. He was not there to listen to her sh*t. Atleast, not anymore. She asked," About what, honey?"

Itsuki said directly," You need to apologise to Hiroki. Now."

Mirai laughed lightly," Why are you still on that? I already forgot about it."

"But none of us did. What you said today was disgusting and total bulls***. How can you talk like that? How can you be so low that you called your own son a gold digger and sl*t?"

Hakuto warned," Itsuki don't forget you are talking with your mother-in-law."

Itsuki released a shaky breath," I am sorry if I am sounding rude but she needs to apologise."

Mirai said firmly," I am not going to apologise. I have not done anything wrong."

Itsuki raised his voice," Yes you have!!"

Kai," Itsuki, stop it."

Itsuki finally lost his temper," You are telling me to stop?! Why didn't you say that to her earlier when she was talking all sort of nonsense about Hiroki?!" He looked at Hiroki and continued," Is this how they all treated you?! Blame you for everything?! Talk s*it about you?! Control you?! Never listen what you want to say?! Never allow what you wanna do?!"

Mirai said angrily," We never treated him like that! Infact, he was the one who always treated us like trash! And because of him only everything fell apart! And he was the one responsible for my mother-in-law's death!"

Hakuto shouted," Mirai! Enough!"

Hiroki looked at his mother, completely stunned. Even she blamed him for Hannah's death.

Kai said frantically," Hiroki, go back to your room! Please!"

Hiroki nodded but was stopped by Mirai.
She said with venom," Why now? Are you afraid to face the reality, Hiroki? Listen to me, you are the one who killed her! Do you hear me?! If only you would not have behaved like a spoilt bastard, she would have been alive today."

Itsuki shouted," ENOUGH!!"

The complete family was too stunned to say anything. This was bad, really really bad. There was an unspoken rule in their house that noone will bring up Hannah's death, ever. But Mirai's loose mouth and brain broke that rule. She crossed way too many limits on that day. And on that day Hiroki was reminded that why his high school self hated and loathed his own mother so much. No, she wasn't even a mother to him. She was just someone with whom he shared his blood with. Hiroki didn't say anything but the last bit of love he had for his mother was destroyed by his own mother's words.

Itsuki gave look of disbelief to Mirai," How-how can you be like this? Rather that accepting your mistakes you are guilt tripping Hiroki!!"

Hiroki said lightly," Stop. It's enough already. Don't waste your energy on someone like her."

Mirai sneered," What do you mean- someone like her?"

Hiroki looked at her blankly," Cheap."

Mirai," What-"

Mikarin," Hey hey, now. I know why Itsuki is being like this. It's because of PPD."

Itsuki said angrily," Ahh... it's because of my PPD and not because of your gracious mother?"

Hiroki sighed," First of all, do not talk about his PPD like that. You have no right to say anything about it. And second of all, I don't need your apology, Mrs.Kamazura."

"Then, why this all act?"

Hiroki said as calmly as possible because his patience was running thin and also H was trying to take over him," Listen to me. Do not cut me off. I-"

Mirai said smugly," Or else what are you going to do?"

Hiroki marched towards her with complete anger and grabbed her hairs sharply. Kai and Itonome tried to stop him but stopped when Hiroki threatened," Stay where you are. I don't want to lose my temper." He looked at the duo with red eyes and said," And you know what happens when I lose my temper the best."

They both stopped dead in their tracks due to fear.( Yep, they are afraid of Hiroki!😗)

He looked at Mirai who was extremely terrified. All her smugness disappeared in thin air leaving behind fear. She knew she messed up really bad because last time Hiroki got physical with her, things didn't end so well.
Hiroki smiled slightly and yanked her hair down causing her to groan in pain.

Mikarin warned him," Hiroki, let her go!"

Hiroki rolled his eyes," Shut up, b*tch."

Haru said with trembling voice," That's not brother, th-that's H!!"

H smiled brightly," That's right! You are getting good at guessing, Haru!"
