Chapter 65- It's my Fault

After Hiroki left the company, he decided to go see a doctor because the pain in his shoulder was unbearable. He won't be able to take a bus in this situation so he decided to walk to the hospital. Mia immediately ran towards him and said," Sir, don't be like this. Sit in the car and I will take you wherever you want to go. Please."

Hiroki again ignored her and continued walking. She had no choice but to follow him. Everyone on the street was looking at Hiroki. Maybe due to being new discovered son of Kamazura or maybe due to his good features. Some girls and boys even approached him but got scared away by a deadly looking Mia. She looked at Hiroki's back and couldn't help wondering what she did wrong. She couldn't bear his silence at all. It was torturing her. She was trying her best to make small conversation with him, which was not her nature at all as she was always cold to everyone, but it went all in vain. Hiroki didn't say anything to her. He just quietly walked while listening her awkward talk.

After reaching in hospital, he took doctor's appointment and waited for his turn to come. Mia asked in concern," Sir, what happened? Are you in pain? We should go to different doctor. This place is cheap. Let's go."

Hiroki ignored her and continued waiting. By then, Mia was at her limits. She yanked him by his injured shoulder and dragged him towards the car which was following them for a long time. Hiroki whimpered in pain but then also Mia didn't stop. She roughly pushed him in the back seat, she herself sat on the first seat and asked the driver to drive back to mansion.

She said angrily," I know you are mad at me but you keeping silence won't do. You need to tell me what's wrong. If you would have just listened to me, I wouldn't have had to drag you like this. Why-?"

She looked at the mirror of the car and was startled. She panicked," Stop the car!"

Driver looked at her in confusion but stopped it anyways.She got off and opened Hiroki's door.

His face turned completely red in pain. He clenched on his shoulder tightly hoping that pain will stop. After Mia man-handled him, the pain increased more. When she looked at him through the mirror, he was completely tilted towards his injured shoulder and was on the verge of crying.

Mia asked him in concern," What's wrong? Tell me."

Hiroki gasped," It hurts."

She looked at his clenched shoulder and realisation struck her. They immediately went to a nearby clinic. The doctor there, took x-ray of Hiroki's shoulder and found a hair line fracture. Mia was shocked after hearing this. She thought that it was all her fault.

Doctor," I have put a plaster on your shoulder. You need to come back in two weeks so that we can remove it. Also, no stress or strain on the shoulder. Don't pick up heavy things. And take these medicines. If it hurts too much, take these pain killers."

Hiroki nodded and left the clinic with a guilty Mia following behind. He looked at her and told her honestly," This isn't your fault. Don't blame yourself for something you didn't do."

But Mia didn't believe in him and kept on blaming herself more. 

At the Kamazura mansion, everyone was seated in the hall due to Hakuto calling an urgent meeting. They saw Hiroki followed by a guilty Mia. Hakuto called him," Oh! Hiroki great timing. Come here."

Hiroki did as he was told and sat besides Haru. She sniffed him and whispered," Why do you smell like hospital?"

He smiled at her but didn't answer her question.

Hakuto said," So, I have decided something. We all are going on a trip this weekend."

Everyone gasped.

Mito," Really?!"

Hakuto smiled," Yeah! I have already booked the tickets and prepared everything. Also, Itsuki and Kai won't be coming with us."

Kai," Eh? Why not?"

"Because you both are going somewhere else."

Itsuki," Why? It will be much more fun to be with you all."

Mirai," Oh, please. You said this during your honeymoon too. And the result was, we all went with you. Sometimes, you should enjoy your own life."

Mikarin," Exactly. Also what has happened is already enough to exhaust you both. So better take a solo trip and have your hubby and wifey time."

Kai smiled at his family gratefully and Itsuki's eyes watered. Hiroki was right. There are many people who cared for him. He felt really grateful to have such wonderful family.

Hakuto smiled," Certain someone told me this idea so I decided to immediately act on it. After all, we all are in need of a break, right?"

Haru," Right! Dad you are the best! So, where are we going?"

Hakuto looked at her and said," That's a surprise. Also some more people are going to join us. You will see on that on Friday afternoon."

Soon, everyone went back to their own room and only Hiroki, Hakuto, Itonome and Mirai were left behind. Mia walked towards Hakuto who was chatting with Mirai happily. She got on her knees and apologized," I am sorry."

Hakuto looked at her in shock," What's wrong?"

Mia didn't look at his eyes and continued," I committed a terrible mistake. You should fire me."

Hiroki said angrily," I told you it wasn't your fault. Why are you insisting on blaming yourself? Do you take my words as nothing?"

Mia immediately shook her head," No it's not like that. I-"

Hakuto interrupted their conversation," Wait, what's happening between you two?"

Hiroki got up," It's nothing to be bothered about."

Itonome said dryly," If it was nothing to be bothered about, Mia wouldn't have reacted like this."

"..."

Mirai asked with concern," What happened?"

Mia," Sir fractured his shoulder because of me."

Itonome shouted in disbelief," What?!"

Mirai and Hakuto looked at her in shock.

Itonome got up and walked towards Hiroki to check his shoulder. As soon as he touched it, Hiroki winced and backed off. Guilt rose in him tremendously. He couldn't believe he was responsible for this.

Hakuto got up and shouted at Mia," You are supposed to protect him not hurt him! What you said is right. I should fire you."

Hiroki," I told you this isn't her fault!"

"Then whose fault is it?"

Itonome," My. It's my fault."
